Graphic card dont work

The fix of forcing Path of Exile to run use the Nvidia card by adding the setting in the Nvidia Control Panel "worked" for me too, HOWEVER:

1. I am getting much poorer performance using this method than I did prior to 3.8. I have to run the game at lower settings than before to get a playable frame rate, and the system seems to run hotter than it used to as well. GeForce Experience suggests I should be able to run the game on high settings but this isn't the case

2. While the video card does show Nvidia 1050TI in "Options" after applying the fix in the control panel, I am not able to change to the different Direct X modes in-game like I used to be able to. This (plus the performance issues) leads me to believe that while this fix does force Path of Exile to use the 1050TI in some way, it is not making full use of it (or perhaps not making full use of Direct X?)

I would still suggest using the control panel fix if you have this issue as it makes the game playable at least but something is still off

I concur with previous posters. Changing the graphics card to globally use the correct one fixed my program, though I've noticed it's been slower and sluggish.

Patiently awaiting a fix!

Wow. Such a great advice. How about you just fix this shit because all other games work just fine without all this magic with setting?

Also, to get it work with dedicated video card just right click the icon and run the application with your video card.

I dicked around with several of the fix suggestions here but only yours about right clicking on the PathofExile-64 desktop icon (not the start-up or taskbar shortcuts) or .exe file and selecting my nvidia card instead of the "default" integrated graphics resolved my issue.

I did try changing this setting in the nvidia control panel but it has an auto default setting already in it for PathofExile for the nvidia which kept overriding (actually deleting) my addition of the 64 bit exe.

Grinding Gears broke something (again) with 3.8 and needs to fix it.

I am using Windows 7 on a Sager Gaming laptop which btw has never had an issue like this with any game in the almost 5 years I've owned it.
