Open NVIDIA Control Panel --> Manage 3D Settings --> Global Settings --> Preferred graphics processor --> set to your dedicated GPU --> Save.
Launch POE normally. Note: If that still doesn't work open device manager --> expand graphics adapters --> right click and disable the integrated card. |

If i do that i can't start the game and get an invalid vector <T> subscript error.

Same problem here, attempting to make any changes to Nvidia control panel to force it results in a access denied error. Don't see why it happens though since it says on the control panel to default to the Nvidia card for PoE.

what works for me (OMEN gaming laptop - Gtx 1050)
Standalone client (not steam) Right click POE icon on desktop - Run with graphics processor - Hight performance Nvidia processor (default). Then on the options inside the game I have the Gtx 1050. I have always run the program like that after 3.8 patch or else with the usual way (double click on the icon I have the Intel card as default) Also noticed that on config file of the game is also default the Gtx 1050. If I rename that file and the game create a new one the Intel card became the default one. I think once again they mess hard with the directX. Last edited by 696Gamer#7830 on Sep 6, 2019, 7:44:20 PM

Same issue here with Lenovo Legion laptop with a GTX1050TI. I wondered why I was lagging so bad, and noticed that the game could only see my intel 630 integrated graphics.
This makes the game completely unplayable. |

" Wow. Such a great advice. How about you just fix this shit because all other games work just fine without all this magic with setting? Also, to get it work with dedicated video card just right click the icon and run the application with your video card. |
