"Hey raulrex1994, The Imperial Bow (and its underlings) give extra Elemental Ddamage with attack skill while the Harbinger Bow (and its underlings) give extra Crit Chance. Our Crit Chance is already high, but until it's 100%, the higher the better...but doing increased elemental damage with every hit is also quite nice. next questions... i've being trying to use the blasphemy however (i'm lvl 75 right now) the range feels underwhelming compared to the range i normally kill stuff, also, considering the extra far shot damage coming from ascendancy, ain't some other mana reserve option more useful? also i've being sometimes struggling to clear some blights even at this level, i feel like my arrows aint hitting all the mobs, should i get more pierce? can u check my character, name "Forevahhalone" and help me out? everyday trying something new

"No problem at all! Ask as much as you like. There would be other good mana reservation options for sure. I just liked the "defensiveness" of having a greater crit chance against enemies that are closer to me than I like. Adding all three elemental Heralds is a great choice and Arctic Armour is always awesome. I have a personal (life long) crush on Temporal Chains with blasphemy. This guide was almost a Caustic Arrow Trickster. That build (along with many of my other builds) have Temporal Chains as an aura. In terms of your character, I think you've got a really good setup going. I like everything you have equipped. (I'll trade you bows ;)...) I find that sometimes when my arrows aren't hitting enemies, I have to wiggle my character around and then try again and then the game starts taking hits again. In terms of DPS, I personally find that 2 projectiles and 2 pierces are more than enough for clearing. I would replace Mirage Archer with Increased Critical Strikes. If you find that the clear isn't as strong as you like, adding Pierce or Fork support would help...but not for bosses. Blight is tough. ALL enemies have large health pools. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for the good work on this build - interesting and challenging. Lvl 89 now and with good gear and some well-placed jewels, sheet dps is now over 200k with 4.8k life. It's not as tanky as I would like and I don't see it going much higher than lvl 90

"Hey PaulBellamy, Always nice to hear from you :). I'm glad you like the build! This build was almost a Caustic Arrow Trickster but I chose this bow build instead because the one is too "staple". I see you hit 90 already! Good stuff. You're over 5000 life with mediocre life rolls on your gear too! Awesome job. I really like what you've done! Besides the long and enjoyably tedious task of slowly upgrading your life rolls, your gear looks great! Your Windripper is really nice! You definitely seem to love your magic find :). But since you're unhappy with how long it takes to kill bosses, there may be a couple things to consider: -There are some nicely rolled rare bows out there that would increase your DPS quite a bit over the current bow I would think. -The Combat focus gems you've chosen have made you Lightning damage only as far as I can see. Lightning skills are balanced really well in the game but come with a huge risk/huge reward. It can deal really high damage and then shock giving even more damage! But the risk is how low the lowest damage rolls can be. EH has a base lightning damage ranging from 95 to 1802 at 20/20. It's not like you don't know this, but sometimes it's easy to forget that you could have 10 hits in a row that are only giving you 100 base lightning damage instead of 1800. This may not be the case, but try a few maps without the Combat Focus jewels and see what it feels like. Let me know too. Cause if that's not it, I'd like to figure it out (if it still interests you). Oh and in terms of tanky, I didn't make my character a Tank per-say, but I add a bunch of defensive skills to the links I left free in the guide. Did you take a look at my links at all? Hi Wrecker, so good of you to give feedback on my version of your build. I swapped-out the combat focus gems which dropped my sheet DPS by 20% but no real noticeable difference in gameplay. I also swapped GMP in for slower projectiles - again a big drop in sheet dps but seems better on map clear speed. Still getting killed too often by bosses tho'. I could not see the links you referred to regarding defensive skills. Where are they?
BTW I levelled with Caustic Arrow - so quick and easy to make progress. Did you sneak a look at my Slayer (JessetheSlayer). It is so easy to play and really strong and tanky. |

"I did check that character out! 98! I love builds that don't use sockets in the chest. It's cool to go a long way with just the 3 4links and the weapon. The build looks amazing! I regard to your damage with the Scion, as awesome as Magic Find and the 6 link are, we may have to find a new weapon for you. Your quiver is great! Another thing I find though is that when I'm fighting tougher character, I run into circumstances where I feel like I'm doing no damage. But to the point where I feel like it's a glitch. I'll move around, make sure I have a clear shot, start firing again, and sure enough, the enemy starts taking good amounts of damage again. I really don't see anything else besides the weapon honestly. Everything looks great. Sorry this response wasn't very helpful.
