We're hiring Spanish and German Translators

The Grinding Gear Games team are looking to hire Spanish and German Translators. This role can be fulfilled from home but living in New Zealand or Australian time-zones is an advantage. It's a part time position but during busy months can scale up to full time.

The ideal candidate:
  • Has a fluent understanding of English and excellent communication skills.
  • Is a native speaker of Spanish or German.
  • Has good understanding and knowledge of grammar and the rules of their native language.
  • Is very familiar with Path of Exile and has played all aspects of the game.
  • Has the free time to translate a few hours a day, including potentially some weekends in emergencies.
  • Is willing to sign an NDA regarding exposure to unannounced information.
  • Ideally has existing professional translation experience.
  • If you already live in New Zealand or Australia please let us know as it could then potentially turn into a fulltime in-person position. If you are not in New Zealand or Australia it can otherwise be an advantage if you are willing to be available during non-conventional hours (late at night or early morning).

Please email us at contact@grindinggear.com if you'd like to apply for the position.

I am pretty sure you have to be able to translate the stuff from english to german OR spanish.
Do you want to improve the actual translations?

In case of the German translation: It´s okay, but a lot of things could be translated better, there are some strange words in the translation.

Hoffe das Beste, dass sich da jemand passendes findet! ^^

Indeed :D
When I tried the German version and read the word "Fertigkeiten Gemmen" for "skil gems" I fell to the floor and lost 10 KG until I was able to stop laughing and get up again.
