It will never happen. If GGG wants to saty relevant on the market with their ancient game, they need to keep casualizing this game more and more. I wont be suprised at all if that the ol'grande 4.0 update will gut this game to the point it will be as brainless as Diablo 3.

They can casualize it more while still adding harder more rewarding content for the people who want it.

Loving this league. Broke my character level record already and am having a blast in glacier. I've never farmed low level content before but it's actually pretty fun.

Do you feel like legion is PoE's best league to date and would you like to see more 'simple' leagues like this in 3.8 and forward?

I think it is one of the best leagues. I have played most since anarchy and this one is lots of fun.

It's both challenging with dangerous rares and very good loot. Just as it should be. Good job ggg!

There has been low-level content farming in every league. In Delve, it was low-level delving to find fossils/currency. In Betrayal, it was blood aqueduct farming. In Legion, it's glacier farming.

None of this is end-game content. It's what people do to allow them to access end-game content, because it provides a steady flow of currency to buy gear to take down shaper, uber elder, deep delves, etc.

I think the league is fun for the most part, but they kind of dropped the ball as far as balance goes. Having the majority of the playerbase using 1 skill - cyclone - is a failure in my eyes. I have tried several builds this league - Chieftan incinerate, Trickster blade vortex/cyclone, Zerker frost blades, and Champion tornado shot, and tbh they're all kind of shit compared to ED/Contagion and pure phys cyclone.

I'm glad that this league will come to standard. I cannot way to try it.

Maybe too early to say? I'm personally loving the league and the mechanic.

Also, I still think picking Legacy as the best league is just a bit of a cop out. Yes, technically it was a league but it was a league of all the leagues.

It's like saying "I pick all the leagues as my favorite league!"

That being said, bring back league stones somehow! It is the only mechanic they made that answered the integration of new content without bloating the game question and they just trashed it. That's frustrating.

Legion is decent. Good looking, good feeling, well designed, and... boring.

Synthesis had a lot of issues, but i played it during almost all 3 months. This league - i don't know why to login anymore. Basically, the only endgame this league has is gambling on timesless jewels. There is nothing else to do.

I generally like the league, opening the monoliths is fun and the loot is great. However, the timeless conflict battles are complete and utter crap as they're boring and unrewarding despite being hard to get and it's bad design that only a handful of builds can run the league content effectively.

In sum: Good league but could've been better.

I didn't get past twilight strand but i got to level 7. The overhyped melee changes felt clunky af and that was more impotent for me than any added league mechanic.
