Is Legion GGG's best league to date?

Content wise it is pretty darn good but as usual GGG seems to be unable to find competent QA Poeple since atleast a month of the league is just beta testing and its getting worse and worse every league .. Legion had the most gamebreaking shit and the worst performances when it comes to server.. i really don't know how such massives things slip through .. GGG is like "hey we reworked melee add animation canceling reworked some gems but hey don't test them" or how else could they not notice that animation canceling with so many melee skills was just broken and that multistrike didn't even work properly and so on when it comes to Quality this company is a mess

Top 3 for sure (for me). Simple, straight forward, rewarding and potentially dangerous (projectiles)...yeah Im in the camp that due to the nature of the league, I think HH is way too OP. Games need chase items, but for this league it is obvious god tier x 10 more than usual. That plus cyclone...people can sit on this item and this skill all league and corner markets.

Ive skipped a few leagues, including delve, but would probably put Delve in that top 3 as well as Legacy.

I didn't play Delve, but its had such an impact on the game from an enormous endgame system/content, and crafting methods. Legacy was just a little bit of everything and was nice if you missed some older leagues. Nothing got stale.

Rippy Betrayel gets an honorable mention. I hated referencing a 3rd party image or website to tell me who should go where, or where do I get the biggest bang for my buck. It was also annoying and time consuming to spawn the Master for very little reward. Having to actually give thought to gearing for chaos damage was a nice change of pace but you cant do that for every build and for that, it was mega rippy.

Synthesis is/was probably the worst league to date but also had the most potential. I know what they were trying to do, the feel they were after. I think I read or saw a video that the devs had this nostalgic feeling of an old game that they wanted to create as a league. I think they poured their heart into it, it just didnt fit (pardon the pun). If they recreated synthesis without all of the complexity, I think it has the potential to be great.

So basically Legion 2. The only thing they could remove is memories. Which just leaves a bunch of monsters, but with fractured items in the drops. That sounds awful, I was hyped for this game because I was sick of Diablo's mindless just hit stuff over and over again gameplay. How do you people like this over doing stuff?

I'll pose a slightly different question, since some people don't see the difference (which is subjective, not wrong for some ppl more reward = best regardless of how its obtained).

Is legion the most rewarding league? (not counting HH).

It's certainly a more rewarding version of breach/abyss, and my experience is it's more rewarding than perandus but i don't play meta builds so my mileage varies.

no. it's somehow worse than breach, as it's repetitive boring and statically boring. Legacy was better.

This might be the root of it. Players simply want a rewarding experience that ideally is also challenging but the latter is not as important.

think it's one of the best^^ only thing that bugs me is that the generals u find in monoliths needs to be done by a meta build which really grinds my gears.

like dealing 70k dps right now and done one in a t1 map and couldn't unlock it before the timer ran out like wth dude.

done one in blood aquaducts and it was doable yet tier 1 map was down to 25% life just not fun but other than that it's really sweet

As a new player (started mid last leauge) who basically deathgrinded past bosses last league, hit 7x level, read guides researched items, farming was slow and not fun, i didnt play much.

This league i made a budget cylone zerker, farmed aquaducts with as much item find as i could muster, even got an exalted drop there, all i did was use waypoint, kill to monolith, portal, repeat with picking up chaos orb recipie items as i went and selling the tabulas ofc, ive casually farmed well over 5 exalt this way.

It opened up a whole new world for me,i could by gear and try whatever i wanted and although im still a complete noob i feel like i can progress and test my own builds for enjoyment, im hooked.

The best league will be the one that will have AH as featured. Period...
