Is Legion GGG's best league to date?

No-one can deny compared to last league this one hit it out of the park.

Back to basics on the league mechanics, but outside of the glacier farming and meta builds there are so much fun builds that are all slamming end game content and the mechanic - so those saying you need meta builds are just flat-out wrong/denial.

I bought the dbl supporter pack for points but also because leagues like this is what makes this game so good.

Also this league mechanic boosted SSF and fresh players tremendously. By the time you get to maps the currency you make from monoliths fully sets you up for great budget builds to get into red maps asap.

Definitely one of my most played/favorite leagues so far, they need to keep this up and not get too intricate in the next league mechanic.

Yes, by far.

I actually liked Syndicate more. The downsides of Legion:

-Lack of the story or new NPC. After seeing the trailer I thought we're going to side with 1 army or something, learn the story of the generals. We know nothing.

-Aside of the melee rebalance (which would happen anyway) and few uniques, lack of the new content. All the rewards we get, existed in previous leagues.

-Poor balance between the emblem prices and rewards from the final battles. Wear Headhunter or gtfo.

-Not sure if this counts, but this league isn't really low spec friendly.

Best league for me as an SSF player. Higher currency drops means i dont have to feel sad every time i Use a currency and it fails.

Trade is toxic as heck, it cheapens the game a lot. I hate how currency engines are mandatory in trade leagues.

This was a godsend to us casual players and im glad there are so many problems with trading, just as GGG always intended. Now if only they didnt create content balanced around trading and made 6-linking actually deterministing rather than go through the same gates they put up just so the trade league economy doesnt burn down so fast, that would be great. If they improve the 6-linking to be more deterministic, PoE would be 11/10.

Seems kinda fair after the synthesis reaction. Everyone was pissed that it wasn't this. You can't have a mindless killing league without builds better at killing doing better. Unless you do something like abyss, which was a cool concept, but I find it way more boring than all the other league content I've gotten to try.

Legions is the first league in which better build gets more, not just faster. All those "mindless" leagues like breach/abyss were doing fine w/o such "addition". Thats why I feel GGG did this just to force meta even more.

Breach was a prime example of faster getting you more, not just faster. And everyone loved it.

Is good1 but not t best. Nothing beats legacy;) But I like legion a lot. Is simple and fun. Just go in map and kill stuff, no complications with interacting wit NPC or go to different place, alt+tab all t time to find out what is best for u to do...

I gonna say, it is. Im coming back to PoE just for Legion :)

No, it wasnt. Only someone who didnt play Breach would say that. It was so easy to keep breach open for max amount of time you would need to attack with base attack to not beable to do that.
