Is Legion GGG's best league to date?

Outside of legion content itself, this league has the advantage of giving you past league content in its most refined state.

Syndicate is magnitudes better than it was during betrayal league because of the bug fixes, spawning 3 per instance and of course the ability to release members.

The huge massive improvements to the mapping system: zana mods not needing vaal orbs for corrupted maps, vaal orbs now becoming relevant, and bosses actually have 20% chance to drop maps.

This is by far the most polished and stable overall league so far.

This league is bad. Syntheisis encounters (not league) where better then monolit. Killing monsters twice, whose idea was that ?

Definitely had some fun and put around 300 hours into this league. We need to differentiate what we are talking about: the game's general shape or the league content itself. League content is pretty limited and straightforward, its low-tier content is too rewarding for my taste, so most of the playerbase abused this option to the max, speedfarming t2 map. Its high-end content (5-way runs) are not containing risk or reward or meaningful interesting gameplay, its all messed up completely because of hh and all that stuff. Yes, some fun to be had - opening monolith while farming yellow and red maps, some rudiments of good gameplay here and there. So, its OK league for my taste, i would give 5/10, but objectively i dare to say this league is disaster because of the highlighted content balancing problems.

This was an awful league. Instead of improving upon the games flaws, it turned them up to 11.

Too bad you missed Synthesis.

I don't know it is best ever but it is up there for sure in the top 5!

I think it is far away from the best.

Huge server problem
Many bugs
Most ppl just farming Glacier with Cyclone or ED.

Synthesis had a very complicating and challenging mechanic which I like but rewards were not worth it which were in betrayal league and it also had the complex mechanic but it rewards heavily to those who understand betrayal.

And Betrayal was also responsible for Synthesis fail due to serious lag issues in those encounter.

The main thing that I like about synthesis was its crafting system which can be improved, they did increase the drop rate of fractured items but it was too late.

Legion was by FAR the best league to date. Not only for best mechanics but playability and longevity. Most people stayed the entire league! I’m talking all platforms! I’m a Xbox player and Iv been playing for a long time now. To release something like legion and then come out with blight is/was a slap in the face. Most people quit the league within the first 3 weeks of release
