The arguement against auto trading is what, exactly?...

you could just search/google for the dozens of threads explaining why from both developers and players.

It's never going to happen, just let the devs have their last remaining design choice.

It is going to happen as its more and more obviously a primary design flaw, one that gets worse everytime they add yet another fragment for us to trade for piecemeal to go with the other 2000 every league.
They don't have to remove trading for anything that isn't piecemeal which still maintains their meaningful trade policy but things like maps have needed a different system since day 1 |

From what I understand, making trades simpler and automatic breaks the game in a sense that sought after items will be easier to obtain and your enjoyment in getting said items will be .. lets say 'not as fun'. And difficult to get items will be auto sniped by bot traders and will command the prices of these items. Which will in turn makes these items more difficult for the average user to obtain. There are lots of game economics that will break they say which I don't really understand.
But there is also talk that when these powerful items gets easier to get then the game bosses would all just melt even to the most nub player and the 'challenge' aspect of the game will be lost. I dunno. As a below average player who doesn't trade except buying the items I need, I'd like some form of auto trading. But from what I can remember from some discussions with the devs, yes they are looking into this trading thing, but they want to tread carefully, making small updates or adjustments as we move along so as not to implement something that might ruin the game and puts the devs and us in a position that we can never come back from. Yup I'd like that 'tread carefully' approach. Filthy Casual Scrub.

Stop your whining. You want people and more bots to camp a stationary AH?
You think 5 people is a lot? I can show a screenshot of asking 20 people for maps. I can also show you a screenshot of BUYERS wasting my time. I can also show you a screenshot of a trade going down in seconds and smoothly. That's free trading for you, it's a player driven environment. AH isn't coming, half the money GGG gets is from tabs, get over it and stop cherry picking to confirm your bias. Pro tip: Stop trying to get things for the minimal or near minimal value. If you're spamming for EX and trying to give them the lowest amount of C possible you will be waiting a long time. Last edited by poeGT#1333 on Jun 29, 2019, 7:03:17 AM

There is none. GGG can place a good AH and ban the bots.
But pushing buggy content, lootboxes and mtx is more profitable it seems. |

" And they're all shit, and most are based on D3's launch mistake and nothing more...we're not trading for money, we can barely do map exchanges (bless Poemap.live's little heart). Not a single other game on the planet other than Money-botted WoW has any level of issue with their AH, who why jump on the two bad examples and use those unless you have a weak argument... |
