why dont they just buy a nasa pc?

I have very close to nasa pc - 2080, 32gb ram dominator, quad core, etc...dont really want to spend more money on this free to play game, already MTX are to expensive...but without them game is empty (as intended) ;)

And about that data lost policy other dude said about - it's like this "if u lose nything cause of our fault, it's not our fault" :))))))))))))

Just cause smart words are beeing used to say something and make it longer and mor academic like, doesnt mean it has rationality, logic or any sense.

But yeah...why bother when people don't have that Free Thinking

In real life when GOD says u die of aging - the ones that THINK FREE will say "NO" i will find the cure to aging - like some a lot o people on the planet are doing. - THEY DONT ACCEPT WHAT IT IS GIVEN CAUSE THATS HOW A TRASH BOOK SAYS

Like me - if the creators of the game says it normal to lose exp and maybe items lol cause of crashes...i wont accept it...never...cause it's straight out "DON'T CARE" attitude, it's simple. I Heeeeb Heeeeb not BEEEeheeh Behheheheh like other sheeple ;)

What the actual...
I don't even...

...WHAT? I've read this post 13 times now and I still don't know what it's about or trying to say. Is it really comparing GGG's policy with the Bible?

My head hurts.
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.

Actually, it's about a guy who can't accept a rule in the game he plays so he comes on the forum and has a conniption fit and his rage is expressed in nonsensical drivel.

Oooh... so I got it half right then, thanks. :)

Bad faith, again.
"annoying" means that it's hindering your progress enough to show you that something is wrong with your build, which nothing else would do it there would not be the penalty.
It means that your build is not balanced and that you need to do something about it ... which you would not if it was not for the penalty on death.

Again, you should stop assuming, you clearly suck at it.

1. It does not hinder progress. Leveling up a bit slower doesn't keep one from finding the next higher map tiers, nor does it keep one from doing Atziri, breachstones, monoliths, emblems, delve, etc.

2. It doesn't show there's something wrong with the build. Maybe you need XP loss to realise that, but for other people like me, dying in itself is a sufficient indicator (if it happens too much, that is).

3. Just because one is dying too much doesn't necessarily mean there's something wrong with the build. I died a lot last league because I simply didn't know the bosses yet and some people just aren't that good.
Practically no build can fix sub par playing skills.

Not even mentioning that if you were not dying, you could likely run harder content, faster, get more drops at the end and progress faster through maps.

Bullshit, progressing through the atlas is not dependent on dying or not, it just takes time to find and run all the maps.
Triple-G RNG'd the atlas progress...

And yeah, you could go and and try to buy the maps, but I really can't be arsed to do that.

If you don't think that being able to "buy your way" through ripping over and over, then you definitely did not put much thinking into that whole think and how the whole economy works in PoE.

The "economy" in PoE is utter shite and I couldn't care less if someone would be able to buy their way through "ripping over and over". And if this would be possible then it'd be just another thing triple-G screwed up.
Since GGG got inspired a lot from D2 (as I wrote before they copied 3 difficulty setting, resistance penalty and exp loss penalty from there) they should have implemented the option to retrieve a part of lost exp by collecting your corpse. In D2 on death in hell difficulty you lost 10% of EXP and you could get 75% of that back by collecting your corpse.
Similar to that Grim down, Titan Quest and others have mechanics to get back a part of the EXP lost (by collecting tombstone, marks or whatever) so it would be nice to have that feature without removing the death penalty.

OFC, with 6 portals per map you can retrieve part of the EXP 5 times, but last one you cannot do. Problem is that this kind of mechanic would not work in delve (opposite to story mode where you can use it without limitations).

If you are dying 5 times in a map you are doing something wrong
There needs to be a cost though

How about instead of voting on xp loss we vote for or against an xp loss prevention currency

So you use this currency and you are protected against 10% loss
my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

Pro tip: if you dont like XP-loss upon death then just play Hardcore League.

HC doesnt have any XP-loss penalty.

Problem solved.
