I agree, it wasn't very good.

But it wasn't outright whining. Satire is as much observation as it is criticism. Satire can be effective criticism but is rarely structured as such directly. It is meant to be thought-provoking but not acerbic or blatant.

'A Modest Proposal' is a perfect example of that.

Yea, it wasn't outright whining. That's why I said I don't understand this thread, since normally people only use these forums to complain :) Maybe you're right and it was just the wrong place to post it ;=

Edit: After reading the last post of IExiled, I realised you could also see this whole thread as a satire on these forums ^_^
