Is The Dark Seer be an useful weapon for him or doesn't the "increased global damage" work with righteous fire/holy flame totem-damage?
I use it mainly because of its bonus to life and mana :) Thank you very much for this guide. I already played and loved your build in 3.6. It's so much fun just walking around and burning monsters. In 3.7, however, it seems harder to generate endurance charges. Maybe because of the changes to the skilltree/ascendancy? Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. "Hey Caligula_Exile, The Dark Seer is a good weapon. There are way stronger weapons for RF of course, as combined the weapon will do around 77% increased damage, but it's good! Especially with the addition to life. But it's a temporary weapon as you look for higher end weapon drops. Thank you very much! I'm glad you're enjoying yourself! The charges are produced completely different with the Chieftain Ascendancy Changes that came in 3.7. I find I'm not guaranteed max charges all the time either. I'm testing this tree currently...putting some hours into it to see if it's worth the changes for next league. It adds the extra %5 chance to gain Endurance Charges at the bottom of the tree. " "Hey you two, I play Standard for the most part. But I was playing league testing out a build for a future guide and got a really good feel for how Generals work. Since this RF build has very little damage on the tree, you'll be dependant on your weapon(s) for the most damage. But, two things you could do without knowing your setups is this: -Replace Enfeeble with Flammability -Replace Increased AoE on your RF links to Concentrated Effect. -Ensure HFT is casting at the General as it's linked Combustion gives RF more damage. -You could always Dual Wield Sceptres if you wanted, just make sure you're staying alive :). The build has more easy survivability instead of a huge offensive focus, so the above is all I can really suggest without changing the build completely. Thank you for this build, it helped me a lot to build my RF character.
I juste started mapping, and it's a lot of fun :) I made some changes though and wanted to share it (didn't read if someone already did it). Planning to use a 6L Purifying Flame with: instead of HFT, thus using Ngamahu, Flame's Advance as ascendency talent. It allows me to use scorching ray with a totem for the fire res debuff. Don't know if it will work for high level maps but for now it seems ok. | |

Great build have had tons of fun playing it in this league. Might even finish atlas this time thru. Thanks for taking the time to put this up, its been easy to follow and its fun. Learned alot about the game using this build, only been playing since beginning of synth.
