This is fantastic. I'm all for people having their moral convictions, but I certainly don't want to hear about them in a video game I play to escape my everyday working world.

things that the average timmy edgy troll ignore for his own sake.. some people seems to exist to annoy others for their own sick fun.

I think this is a good change to policy. This is an international game, with very different cultures coming together. Some countries/people take politics and religion very seriously.

That being said, I hope this rule is uniformly and consistently enforced. Nothing annoys me faster than 'exceptions' to perfectly fair rules.
"Freedom of speech", the most misunderstood, misused and abused phrase since the Roman empire. I welcome this ToS change/update.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Would have preferred an enforcement of, say, a no harassment/hate speech policy in general chat, considering the open racism, transphobia, homophobia, and other bigotry I saw regularly popping up in there before I bailed on it...

nah, I don't think this is the case.. the "community" is mature but the majority chooses to act like a 12 year old because internet anonymity

Clearly has no friends otherwise he'd know that A) it's stupidly subjective to insert that someone speaking freely and jokingly about a topic in such as way that you don't like how/what they're saying is "immature" (what are you, 5?) and B) would know people who do [A] and could give a two shits about his angst about them...

Needless to say this is simply because GGG is in a certain country that will throw you in jail over tweets or sharing a video but give some old bag who stabs you a pass, so they're covering their ass in case someone decides to take a shot at them.
Does GGG ip ban yet? Spam is rampant in chat.
I don't mind the change, as I don't discuss those topics online.

But man, do I ever feel for whoever has to actually go through everything to "Enforce" this change. Hands are gonna be full.

Yeah no problem with this at all. Politics and religion are both cancer.

That's not what it says though.

It says any "inflammatory" topic.

What that means we have a few basic ideas, but more importantly what that means to GGG...is unclear. Its vague and can be applied indiscriminately with no oversight.
