Button to "unfreeze all mobs" after clicking monolith?

The league looks cool, just like breach was. I'm not mad with legion itself, just saying it would be cool to have a way to skip all this freezing thing that looks annoying.

I agree that this looks less friendly to melee than other builds, but this is another classic example of developer expectations versus players. You expect to be able to unfreeze every monster. Why? What if they put 10,000 monsters in there just to make it feel epic?

They said as much in the Q&A that they don't expect many if any people to routinely break most monsters free.

Reminds me of map sustain. People reliably complain every league that they can't sustain T16. It's a big chasm of expectations between system design and what the player thinks should be right.
Why do I expect to unfreeze all of them? Becuase it will be VERY doable on most "clearpseed kings". Which mean those builds not only benefit from clearing those unfreezed monsters faster, they also "SPAWN" more monsters to kill!

It's hilarious, when we finally have a Melee league we have the worst mechanic league ever to deal with melee.

Unless we are playing some big and fast Aoe melee skill, maybe tectonic slam.

But god damnit, many others will feel terrible and awful.

Some builds like spectral throw for example is a DO-NOT-GO in this league.

This button fix everything. I don't know about you but personally I hate any league mechanic instantly kills certain builds.

The only use of "melee" I have in this league is to use Cyclone with CWC for Volatile Dead.
The upcoming league will introduce an inverse problem too, many single-target skills in the game are getting Splash Damage so... it's going to become difficult to find good skills that only hit the enemies you want to activate.

the idea is cool but doesnt seem viable, i was thinking the same thing
