Is getting insulted trading a common thing here?

What kind of idiot is trying to haggle a product which is fixed price already by it's nature of being a CURRENCY which price is decided by the market itself. Everything else in this game is limited or unique and can understandably be haggled with.

People also don't put fixed price because:
1. Only an idiot would haggle currencies
2. Misclick / didn't see that it wasn't on fixed price
3. Nobody respects the fixed price tag anyways

Theoretically, sure, but not in practice; and only an idiot would assume positive results from such haggling because there is no incentive for the seller to sell even minimally cheaper than what the market has set up because then they would face endless spam.

You are right, even if the price is not fixed and you start your "game of haggling" very often the other player is right away offended or instead of just making a counter offer starts telling u all kind of nice things. The best thing that can happen is: you just don't get any reply or they put u on ignore right away. I guess western people are just not used to that. Chinese for instance have no problem with that at all.

You know what bugs me the most? This gentlemen was selling exalted orbs and called me an idiot for 5 chaos... 5! What is 5 chaos for someone selling exalteds? I imagine it's nothing

um that stuff adds up over time.

This game is full of illiterates! I clearly stated that it didn't had the "fixed price" and that I am a newbie. I only had 140, not 145, I'm not a flipper thing as someone said. Jesus Christ people can't read, same as the guy in the game, because if he knew how to read he would have put the currency in fixed price. Snowflake? I'm trying to see how toxic this community is, if it is bad as it seems I'll stay as far away as possible. Another thing, can't understand jokes either such as the violated thing because it was my first time trading.

So... you can dish it out too. That's great.

Sitting together having a drink whilst talking about it would have ended in a nice chat. Forums often sound so harsh.
Let's relax a bit. Kiss_Me_Quick is a smart guy, he just comes across a bit rough but he's alright. He even gives (gave) away huge amounts of currency at the end of leagues (while he was still active).
