ANd sorry, but while not the most elegant, bigger number is, in fact, the best & most balanced way for an ARPG. It allows you to gauge how far you can push compare to others, & give the incentive to push your char further to clear even harder content.

At least, it's far better than PoE where everything dead in sec, no way to gauge yourself against others, which make you wonder why try harder at all.

You guys do realize that Blizzard started going back the old way right? WOW vanilla coming back the way WOW players liked it, Warcraft 3 reforged (I already pre-ordered my copy the moment I heard it, I played that game with its mods for thousands of hours) and so on.

Blizzard could easily bring a diablo 2 new edition or some stuff with a bunch of new features and POE players will jump on it right away.

As for D4, a high amount of items/stats + a different skill system will be more than enough to take over the ARPG market.

Poe is stuck right now into a constant circle of trouble: current league is garbage therefore it requires fixing which means less time for good content on future leagues which means that each league will always be buggy/un-tested due to their model.

D4 could literally do the same thing but leagues every 6 months and sell MTX. Why 6 months? good amount of time to fix the issues and create a new league.

I recently started playing POE again since the PS4 release. I played on PC back when there were only 2-4 Acts and I played 1000's of hours on D3 on both PC and PS4.

POE more than scratches that ARPG itch. For what ever reason i get that same good feeling i used to when playing D2 endlessly. The only way another ARPG would "kill" POE for me would be to replicate that scratch even more than what POE does(gameplay, diversity, skill system, itemization, mechanics etc).

The likelihood of ActiBlizz doing that? Id say the moon hitting earth is more likely to happen.

10cGGG should buy the Diablo franchise off Blactivisard. That’ll guarantee this scenario will never happen...unless EA buys them all and then it’s an automatic...

I doubt anyone in this world is willing to pay the amount of money it is required to buy Activision Blizzard.

Unfortunately for actiblizion they have been proving that their games present and future are minimum effort cash grabs and will not be properly supported past more ways to bleed a player for more money.
