I'm following along with your build, i think it looks great.
Currently I'm level 18 and using this as my guide, because why reinvent the wheel right? Question though... For the 30 pt skill tree you go down the attack speed branch and over to Master of the Arena, and then go Life->Life->Life Regen. But when I look at the 65 pt skill tree it looks like you respec those life nodes and go down from the starting point with Melee and Melee attack speed. Is this intended? I know i have the freedom to tweak as I want, but just wondering what your thoughts are behind doing it this way. |

" Ah yes, it is intentional. For the bonuses you get per node, those starting ones are in my opinion very beneficial late game, not many other areas you can go and net 10%ed/node benefit. Early game, as you have low level weapons etc, they don't dramatically improve your damage, hence I do not think you need to get them that early on. But they are not mandatory, they are however very efficient at boosting E.D. compared to other nodes when you calculate each invidiaul statistic bonus/node. The attack speed nodes are 4% each (normal nodes are 3%) and master of arena has 20str, so that adds 4% melee damage on top of its 8%, so that is a 12% ed node effectively. Some notable keystones that haven't been included but are very good are Repartee, Blinding speed, Acceleration, all which could be substituted in from the shadow area (added to guide). I noticed you dropped Blinding Speed and Repartee for more crit (throatseeker, by CI). I'm still getting up there (lvl 50, just picked up the keystone nodes and now loading up on ES increasing nodes, so haven't picked up many dps nodes), and was wondering if you're noticing the increase in crit multiplier greatly outweighing the 12% atk speed and 24% physical damage, if you're there with your build. Just curious about the change.
Really enjoying the build though, very fun so far. Thanks for putting the guide together. |
