Ok, let's get the facts straight, it is not the permanent ladder, its the race ladder.
Also, reaching lvl 76 as solo melee is not amazing, plenty of people have done it, in fact I have done it with two characters so far and doing solo maps (lvl 73 and 76 marauders), more by necessity (no friends playing PoE) than by challenge and I am not playing full time.

What is amazing is that he managed to do it in a race in a rather short time with all self-found.

I can't understand what is wrong with you.
He plays a melee character with gems and items he found. He is not allowed to trade.
He is in maps and he can survive fairly good!

I'm a summoner,the safest build out there and i was forced to logout to prevent death at a level 67 map.
I got 4k life and 1.5k ES,capped resistances.

Can you for a minute stop crying for the problems and admire what a guy do?
This is a thread that clearly talks about a guy being amazing, and yes he does.
Besides all the problems melee got,he can survive those problems with crappy (compared to what you can buy via trading with your currency) gear and you still "cry".
If you are not here to discuss about him,but to cry about the melees again, go to one of your 50 threads and do so. Stop being so pathetic.
