ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH THESE TRADE ISSUES
" Oh please. Attacked is such hyperbole. If you post in a public forum, be prepared that not everyone will agree with your point of view and/or point out flaws or provide a counterpoint. Honestly if you post about trade, AH, bots, p2w, and PoE isnt really free to play, then yes, people will cone to your thread with legitimate arguments. Dont be so sensitive, or ignorant that not everyone sees it your way. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" Nope, I'm just suggesting that your friends should be in same guild / cluster if you want to play with them. Guild members should be all in same cluster by default. " Nope, your rights will not be taken. You will just not be able to access any big market. It's up to GGG to balance how many e.g. Kaom's chests will be available for 1000 people market - may be just e.g. 10 through all the league for single cluster, but likely will be more as drops can be upped. Want 650+ pDPS 2H mace - likely forget it as the market exposition will be much much less! You will not be trading from e.g. 250 000 people, but just from 1000 people. Gear access will be indeed likely more limited than it's now. Likely by factor of 10 to 100!!! (e.g 1 Kaom's heart available out of previous 50 available for sell). And this is exactly what is necessary to cut down market exposition!!! Then maybe buff up drops or leave it as it's! Note: It will still be much better gear availability than SF, by miles! MY CHALLENGES ARE DONE ON HC, IT'S NOT SC GUYS!

" that is exactly what i do... i gladly pay again 100-200 €/$ if they fix the issue with standard trading... if they don't oh well i get free content anyways every 6-12 mouth :) ... And they clearly don't need the money from standard player on topic i made a suggestion long ago that all remove tabs will be set to non-public... which should be more than doable and an easy way to address the issue... if you still wanna trade then you have to make them manual public again ) /E fixed a few typo 30 Shores with Double Pack / Breach / Max Sextants https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2006424/page/1

" This is honestly one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. Who exactly would be in favor of this? I have zero idea why another players 650 pdps weapon impacts my gameplay at all. Not even remotely. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" Reasonable depend of your playstyle and goals and generaly what you expect from this game, this is the main issue, it seems GGG is not able at this hour to understand wich different personas play PoE and then doesn't adapt their choice in accordance, i'm talking about the economy and trading part here only else discussion will have some increased duration ahah. Soo yeah not the most appropriate word here :) and if you allow me to i would like to explain why, this is going to be a long read. When it come to maps i don't have issues to always sustain a map tier for example i learned over the years how to benefit the best i could from drops and then from atlas, but if i need some specific maps for elder generation as an example, i'm screwed and know my playtime is basicly going to be badly impacted, i havn't joined a game to end on an indexer, i join it after affording free time with a real work, to relax and eventualy stay in immersion, having to stop and trade always is BORING. Starting by that, it's not reasonable to take more time to buy a map this way, than to actualy run it that's my general feeling over a lot of playtime and years on PoE. I also joined to create builds, or test builds from other players, remember that's in the marketing campaign of GGG ( building and theorycrafting ), well good news i decided to run a new build earlier this morning, 0 to 70 will take approx 5.30 / 6 hours, it took me yesterday evening half of this time to get my gears ready with this "Reasonable time", wall of players that won't move their ass in hideout, guess why ? Because as i do they eventualy are bored and want to play. I took only two example situations, sadly this is what often happen for various reasons; This league economy ( the softcore one ) has been impacted a lot by different indexers issues, group that treat ingame economy as a real work are more than ever here i met some guys working toward such goals it's smart, but it damage economy a lot and then players that doesn't play the same game than them, you have also RMT bullshits wich are part of the problem too and impact a lot economy wich is also directly impacting player experience since we are invited to rely on trading ( That's not my words, this is the Chris ones more or less ). And not the least important but yeah there are new craft mods wich impacted economy a lot aswell, soo what i described above is kinda an obvious result: BOREDOM. With all my honesty, we called with few other members before October 2013 release that this design ( even without all the goodies we have now to trade ) would fail on many levels on the long run. Guess what happened ? Not coming from the futur, just played enough online games ( since they exist basicly ) to understand slightly wich design is solid and wich one is not. This one is interesting and has potential, but it's fool to think most of players appreciate it and that's what GGG is apparently thinking ( regarding Chris reactions about it ); The most part deal with it because there is no choice and they enjoy the rest of the game as i do else i wouldn't dedicate ~45% to 60% of my free time for it, some brave ones will stay, some others will get burned out and leave without watching behind and those players are eventualy liking this game at least on a same level than you or me enjoy it. Now what are the possible solutions ? Full SSF and economy removed ? it's not yet an option, design isn't centered on it and the population joining PoE doesn't seems to be interested much either. AH? could be all good or all bad for the game, i somehow agree with that tought it depend how it is designed peoples tend to often translate AH with the D3 one and enter the panic circle directly ( because they heard about it mostly and don't have any other examples to argue with ). Oh well people often have closed mind and one direction toughts, can't blame them for that, conditioning is the issue, it's not their entire fault :D:D:D Keep maintaining what we have now ? There are more negative feedbacks about it than there are angry comments about the past years EA drama, how GGG can even think it would be an OK choice ? More seriously, could work some past improvements already made it slightly more enjoyable, but why would you keep building on an unstable basis ? Find something in the middle is a possible solution and one that could also reconciliate both POE TRADING fans and AUCTION HOUSE ones, however this is taking a lot of time, brainstorming, dev, testing phase, integration, wich translate into an even more risky choice. That's it, in conclusion i don't have solution because i don't know what GGG is ready to invest, or how dedicated they will be in the futur regarding economy and trading, for now it seems that they will simply ignore it, few different possible reasons: Option 1: They are working on something BIG and don't want to overhype players. Option 2: They don't accept the defeat and are all drinking at the corner street pub ( wich is also a good idea in general for creativity ). Option 3: They gave up and won't ever touch economy again, hoping it will work on the long run and the actual damages will be solved with some magical skills or god intervention ( i doubt this is a viable option ). Rough numbers for my playstyle, attempts from the game, number of characters per leagues and tries with different gears, but i would say that trading represent almost 35% of my total playtime on an entire league if it's not more. Conclusion: Not so reasonable ( in my opinion, this is subjective ofc ). Hf :) Last edited by Heli0nix#0378 on Jan 7, 2019, 1:23:01 PM

I am getting tired of whole game. I think it's called growing up. My brother warned me about this as I pestered him to play this game with me and he was a D2 addict back in middle school...
SSF kinda revitalized game for me after I was bored last year. Maybe try it. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Jan 7, 2019, 1:20:19 PM

" If you want to test a bunch of builds why not mess around with that in STD where you should have two of everything by now? Thats what I do before proceeding to league with proof of concept. Proof of fun. Even big league streamers do this. You can watch them preparing for new leagues days prior to starting. Anyway as to your conclusion - IMO solution is already here. We have SSF both HC and SC and we have trade leagues both SC and HC. Nothing is perfect obviously to everyone but we live in an imperfect world and this the best solution out of possible ones I've heard. Full blown AH - well if you think bots are bad now you have seen nothing yet... Full SSF would kill a lot of player base who loves to trade. Not to mention make game way to easy because they would up drop rates for casuals to retain them. I and others left D3 when they did that. No we have a game for all player types here and now.
