ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH THESE TRADE ISSUES

My point is overall- IT is EXTREMELY hard to invent a new trading syste, considering the WORLD itself HASN'T done that in 20 centuries.

Current bot infested trade system can be partially fixed by simple removing “exalted orbs” from crafting bench recipes. Look at current situation. Lvl 3 craft is for up to 4 chaos orbs. And suddenly, we have some lvl 4 recipes for 1 or 2 exalts. Baaaam! From 4 chaos to at least 165 or even 330! And in most cases to have exalts for crafting players must purchase them from other players/flippers or for real money. Lets replace “crafting recipe” costs with “obtainable currency only”, like 100/200 chaos for lvl 4 mod. You will suddenly have massive chaos sink. No Harvard required here. But they never do it, as such solution could harm RMT shops, which are… good for GGG’s business :)

You have no idea what your talking about.
I am not surprised conspiracy theories pop out when as of late GGG have been very reluctant to deal with bots.
They should first address the source problem. That is that the population from which trades can be done so is too big.

This means splitting people into clusters (realms) of e.g. max 1000 people. Disallow trading and playing together from different clusters.
Allow limited flow of people from one cluster to another (including their stash tabs) - in following way incoming and outgoing queues - when you come, you can't leave for some time - e.g. 7 days. You can't come if there is no free place for you.

They are already moving towards this goal by introducing private leagues.

And once this is done, there will be little problem of automated cluster AH - no longer that many people you can trade with. In fact much better situation than it's now.

THE SOURCE OF PROBLEM IS SHEER NUMBER OF PEOPLE YOU CAN TRADE WITH, NOT THE TRADE SYSTEM IN FIRST PLACE!
MY CHALLENGES ARE DONE ON HC, IT'S NOT SC GUYS!

Are you suggesting to create 1000 place clusters and give up on playing with friends if they arn't in the right one ? Not sure to understand ...
Hf :)

This is probably the worst idea I have ever heard to fix the trading "problem". I am amazed that it was even suggested.

I mean already you have forced players to only be able to interact with a handful of other players for no good reason, but then you remove their rights to trade outside that circle. So if I want X unique and no one has one for sale I can just go screw myself? What a horrible idea

3) Player A will send a party invite, in case Player B wants to trade or to simply see if they're currently busy in a map or the lab and knows to wait till their done. (ok cool) Player B on the other hand will be silent, never responding no matter if they're in a map, lab or even just sitting in town or their ho (hideout).

4) Player B will suddenly put Player A on ignore for no reason but just for even being contacted in the first place about an item they posted. Unless you post some weird crap like I wanna buy your item (quill rain for this example) for 500 ex or something equally ridiculous. * btw only way to check to see if you haven't been ignored is to send a party invite since GGG doesn't have a notification of this if you msg a person*

If you do this, you rightfully earned a place on the sellers ignore list. I am not a full time sales person. I play the game. If I don't reply I have better things to do in game. For example doing uber lab oder fighting uber elder or chatting with pals in guild chat.A ninja invite is annoying at best and distracting in a difficult situation at worst. I will immediately put you on ignore if you do this - no exceptions.

What you should do instead is move on to the next seller. It is no problem for me to buy maps/currency/etc. within a very reasonable amount of time. Just adapt.
There are so many dynamics and variables at play here.

The currency economy, the massive impact guilds have on high end items, the new crafting recipes, ect...

It would be very difficult for GGG to quantify a solid end-all be-all currency orb vendor. In fact I'd say its impossible.

The Trade system itself, while it has its faults, in its current state, is fairly good. If you have been here for years like I have, it has come a long way from basically a ridiculous trade chat spamming joke, to the tolerable, bumpy version we have now.

If the major issue is the buy-out, automatic trade, that doesn't even require a player to be logged in, then sorry to disappoint, but it's not happening.

If you think a currency vendor that has all orbs is the right direction, good luck getting consensus on what the "standard" price should be. This would actually cause more headaches and debate.

In summary, for the most part, I dont think trade is in a bad spot (minus price fixing and bots, which an AH doesnt fix)

I read a few of the posts that replied. This is why I stopped posting in the forums. Everybody attacks you for speaking up about trade issues, or any issue for that matter.

Instead of being positive and saying "yea, trading sucks, this may not be the way to solve it, but something needs done". People rather bash and be negative and attack you for your post being long as one post stated.

Some things seem will never be fixed in any of the games I play. Bots and trading here, aim botters and hacks in Battlefield.

People love to site Diablo as failed AH, and it did suck. However, works well in WoW.

I better stop, I will be getting attacked also.

Just quit the game and stop any supp pack purchases until they fix it. It's your fault right now for playing in that system if you don't like it.

Don't get your hopes too high about anything changing anyway.

that is exaclty what i do... i gladly pay again 100-200 €/$ if they fix the issue with standart trading... if they don't oh well i get free content anyways every 6-12 mouth :) ... And they cleary dont need the money from standart player

on topic i made a suggestion long ago that all remove tabs will be set to non-public... which should be more than doable and an easy way to address the issue... if you still wanna trade them you have to make them manual public again )
