Um, sorry to burst your bubble but this is already a thing.

It was implemented in the trade API a couple of leagues ago.

Searches on poe.trade only show people who are actively playing in a league if you have "Show online only" ticked.

Nah, if it were already implemented we wouldn't still be having these issues. Lately more and more people have been frustrated with these trading problems. Trading should be as easy as it is to make a post (in game or on the forums).

The more difficult trading is, the less motivation people would have for supporting stash tabs; they'd get pissed and prob switch games to pass the time. I'm surprised GGG hasn't realized this concept yet, aside from that I really wanna know how hard would it be from a programmer's point of view to make such changes.

lol the audacity of some people thinking the instant they whisper someone they should get a response and have that player drop whatever they are doing--especially on HC--to serve you. There are many factors in not getting a response and some of the suggested "changes" like forcing people to manually public every tab again is insanity or trolling.

You take the good with the bad, most trades go fast and easy. If you're constantly trying to trade people for peanut currency items then yeah, you will have a bad time but that's on you and your accomplishments for the season.

Yeah, I've whispered sometimes 20+ people for a map and got no response, it's annoying but I've also had way more instant replies on items of value. This complaint is so perpetual, the tab/api system is going nowhere. AHs in other games are just as bad with bots/snipers etc. People need an incentive to get tabs to support the game, that's really the bottom line.

And yes, if you're one of these players that's spams an item request twice in a row fast, then spams "Hello?" then spams group invites while the other person is in another trade or on 10hp on a HC boss you deserve to be ignored or deliberately not have that item sold no matter what it's worth.

I had to whisper 7/8 people tonight before getting a response on a pandemonius, so its not just on peanut items. People just don't respond. But I guess it adds so much value to the POE experience.

Current trade system is piece of clunky and outdated crap, not argue with that. But when it comes to your "Pandemonius" issue, you could hit outdated offers and sellers did not want to bother with response. Actually, such situation is another part of problems with trade. But also you could encounter some "pricefixers", who list such items much cheaper then real market price and try to “snipe” offers of unaware players. In case of mentioned amulet profit at least 50c or more, so such things are quite profitable, with almost no risk.

Yep, hence the reason for this post. Many many people know about this issue but aren't speaking up. Hopefully GGG is considering this in w/e the new big patch will be coming up.

devs will listen when you stop support like me, last supporter pack i buy until we have an udpate about trading.

Spent 2 hours trying to buy 1 t13 map. Pmed 50 different people from poe.trade and sent messages in 5 or 6 trade channels. I don't want to have to spend 100c buying 25 maps when I only need 1.

"Trading" in PoE is just a pain in the ... you know where

if they would add a somehow automatic trade-system for currency/maps, at least. common GGG: get over your ancient system as it is right now
