Since this is basically asking, they have their own jargon that isn't really standard usage of language or even punctuation. The one I saw mentioned here was something I'd never heard of until I read the wikipedia article on it. It still carries the meaning of a slur though if you interpret it the way they intend.

And therein lies the issue for these companies. You have one definition, I've got another. It's a can of worms that doesn't directly impact their bottom line so the easiest thing to do is ignore it. Ignoring it can have consequences though. Many people were radicalized by ISIS youtube recruiting videos. Some of those people committed terrorist acts inspired by said videos. Many others have been radicalized by alt-right hate speech online as well. And the alt-righters who have gone on to commit terrorist acts? Well they've killed more Americans than the ISIS inspired terrorists have.

I'm of the opinion that GGG (and companies in general) should just pick a fairly wide definition and enforce it. If it's a bit too wide and catches some borderline cases that's better than letting too much crap through like they do now. Path of Exile is meant to be a game after all, not a platform for spreading hateful bullshit.
