There is a difference between an alt-right MAGA troll and a trump supporter. Nobody said anything about banning MAGA slogans. You may be acclimated to the extreme toxicity created by these trolls, but any new players will see this and immediately think this game is an alt-right shithole. Or worse, when the new patch drops reviewers or journalists may encounter this mess, we get labeled as an alt-right mess and there is no turning back from that.

And again, I am using the top definition of alt-right, and yes, there are several loli guilds who promote lolis, maga troll, go on unhinged racist rants, and try to get people to chant with them.

It's not a good look for the game and creates an exclusive environment. This game is for everyone to be bad at, not just our loud fringe groups.

But the question is, what do we do about furries then?

And it is hard to be inclusive and peoplekind when you play a witch exiled after killing and eating babies.

Also the murder of civilians in oriath might trigger few "journalist" as well.

That's a false equivalency. Having a violent videogame is not the same as allowing unhinged alt-righters to dominate the global chatrooms with coordinated attacks.

We've seen it a million times, allowing this shit to fester will only make it blow up in our faces.

The solution is simple: tighten the keywords for spam reports and crack down on fake email accounts used to create accounts. Punish those who get banned on a daily basis, and we're done.

Some people are immediately returning after their bans and continuing to spew stuff into their next ban. Crack down on them harder.

Just a little work behind the scenes can turn it around and bring us back to the wild west global 1 that we all loved. The reality is in the age of the alt-right troll, we have to take proactive measures. Sucks but that's the way it goes now.
