Can we do something about the MAGA spammers? We can't afford to be the alt-right game

If the alt-right leaning groups in question weren't constantly MAGA trolling I wouldn't call them MAGA trolls. Many of them are aligned with the Loli guilds, but some of them aren't.
The fact that they all go on unhinged racist/sexist rants is a serious liability. I believe one of the expanded definitions describes their rants perfectly: " I think I'm hearing that you believe the changes would be heavy handed, but that's simply not the case. The updates would be deft and behind the scenes. Mainly updating the spam keywords and logging repeat offenders. Then we would crack down on accounts registered with gorilla email accounts, and done. You call them trolls, but I don't think you really know what trolling is. And they're winning.
I doubt most people in those chats genuinely believe what they're saying, they're doing it to be edgy and to get people like you riled up which is funny. If you don't like the garbage they spew, here's a revolutionary idea: Block them. And if they're saying things that goes against the ToS (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc), report them. However, them spamming MAGA and worshiping Trump isn't grounds to demand devs police what people say, because you don't like it. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I appreciate the input, but we are really just doing mental gymnastics now. "Sure it's bad, but most of them probably don't believe it and it's kinda funny so whatever."
I am fine with reporting and blocking. All of these things were stated several times- the groups are continuing as soon as they are unmuted. What about the new player that comes and sees these unhinged, racist rants? What will they tell their friends? That everyone is a bunch of MAGA trolls? How in the hell do we explain the loli guilds and the people who talk them up in chat? I am being as frank as possible and asking for some common sense updates here. The implementation will be painless and behind the scenes. We update the report system and spam keywords, we log the repeat offenders, and we start cracking down on accounts created with dummy email addresses. Perhaps we even give the mods a little more agency that will allow them to look into the repeat offenders history and use that to determine further courses of action. I am so tired of this alt-left/alt-right crap seeping into every single facet of my life.
If you are so sensitive, turn off the chat, or get out of Global 1. This channel should actually be relabeled Global Troll. Every other channel is a fraction of the garbage that is constantly spewed in Global 1. One of the great failings of my generation is the creation of the overly sensitive and addicted to outrage millennial generation. They are not to blame, we are. But we also get to reap the "rewards" of all this, which is Nooooodles and his ilk. Then in comes Gen Z, which is primarily what Global 1 is full of, with their absolute denial of outrage culture, and a specific troll bullseye on all who propagate it. And this, my friends, is not only Global 1 in a nutshell, but our entire Western Civilization. So, in complete opposition to your original post, if Path of Exile wants to attract the younger, Generation Z population, Global 1 is exactly right. If it wants to attract Millenials and Gen X'ers then, great, start hard policing chats and handing down bans and all that. GET WOKE GO BROKE, brother.
