The syndicate exiles themselves are fine but the respawning enemies just make it like you're trying to swim through enemies to get to what you're trying to kill and not get killed by. I'd rather see the respawning enemies toned down in frequency before the syndicate exiles are adjusted.

" Despite the disagreements, you don't seem like a bad guy so I'm sort of sorry for this post. I don't usually like ragging on peoples' builds, but your setup is just too good of an example of those who complain about Syndicate being unbalanced. Let's start with a quick overview: ![]() Two life flasks: Sanctified (???) and Eternal Two Quicksilvers Overflowing Chalice No freeze immunity. No curse removal. Bleed immunity while leeching (as long as you manage to actually get in range to leech with that is). You have 61% worth of all resis on the tree, wasting eight skill points to take majority of them. If you had to go for Scion resis, you should've at least took the jewel slot there as well... Your Molten Shell is linked with CWDT lvl 13, which translates to it activating MS when you lose 1.8k hp. You have 3k max hp btw. Your gear, weps notwithstanding (though rares would probably be better), is terrible. I'm talking about S-class trash here. Literally everything but your body armor and amulet has a level requirement of 35 and lower; this doesn't reveal the items' ilvl's of course, but looking at the mods all your gear has and the low level uniques, I'm pretty confident in saying the their ilvl's aren't very high either. Your armour and amulet are trash too, even though they're slightly higher level. And you're playing Cleave as your main skill. Level 75 btw. How are you level 75 with this gear? How did you clear merc Labyrinth with this gear? If I was given the exact copy of this character and told to go clear merc Lab, I'm around 90% sure I would find the task impossible. You've done at least one thing that's most likely beyond my capabilities, I'll give you that much. Doesn't make your setup any better in maps, wouldn't be surprised if you struggled in whites. To be precise, I'd be surprised if you AREN'T struggling in whites. While this post is pretty unfair towards you, it also shows the level of ability those people who complain about Syndicate have. GGG, is this the crowd you want to pander your game to? Are you going to strip the remaining depth out of the game because builds like this can't handle league content? Syndicate difficulty level is a breath of fresh air, but if you give in now, where will the dumbing down of the game stop? Are we going to be playing the arpg version of Flappy bird a few leagues in the future, just so builds like this can experience all content? I ask again, GGG please don't nerf the encounters. Fine-tuning some of them's fine (not because I'm struggling, but because some people brought up good points). Just don't have a knee jerk reaction and nerf them to oblivion. Please. |

" The first screenshot looks at the aura of the mob, it's a huge dps boost for members of the syndicates. The second screenshot this mob resurrects the other mobs as fast as lightning, a real cancer. The latest screenshot is the items that boost even more the masters and if unfortunately they are connected to each other then they can pop by 2, by 3 .... I do not go back in the details you do not seem to have discovered the mechanics of this league. I would not give you trouble .... " That's because you don't seem to understand the build. I just now got to the Scion resists, so that's why I don't have the jewel slot yet. Was going to get it next level, but I went to those nodes to ease up what kind of gear I need in order to upgrade. I'm 75 because I finished the campaign, did a bunch of strongholds, did some delves, did a few maps (just started those, really), and haven't found reasonable gear updates in awhile. Molten Shell procs plenty because the life leech keeps me topped off against most things that can't just one-shot me. That all said, you seem to highly undervalue both Cleave and life leech. Cleave has been a fantastic leveling experience outside of the broken syndicates. There's nothing else it struggled with at all. I was considering switching to another skill anyway, but haven't decided on one yet. You can bash the build all you want, but this is a perfectly fine build for where it is, and obviously I know how to pilot it, because I beat Merc Lab with it at 65. If you wanted to give legit advice for the build, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but you're trying to make a straw-man argument on the basis of essentially nothing. You seem to forget too that many players can't even clear Lab on their own, even with meta builds, so I'm not sure what you think you're going to prove with this sort of attack, but it's just not persuasive because syndicate encounters are harder than Merc Izaro. Edit: I will thank you for pointing out that most of the gear is out of date, though. That's something easy to fix. However, I don't see getting rare swords that are better than these ones for cheap. your char, your gear, your complaints, your refusal to use defense OR enfeeble? it's not strawman, it's the very context. as for screenshots... umm... yes, there are rares that give dmg mods to other monsters. they've been in the game since essentially ever. not sure what your point is. yes, the syndicate members are/were near each other. ...ok? and? they can synergize? that's... the point? Of course it feels like a 'fantastic experience' when you're hitting nothing but sandbags; with Syndicate encounters that shit no longer flies. |
