Don't nerf Syndicate encounters

Sorry for my bad English.

When I read this, I am scared, I did see posts that State my main problem with syndicate, but not enough.

Those encounters are real clusters shit fest.

I play in 4k capped fps max graphics settings and the action is really messy to say the least, WAY too much effects, particles, lasers, at the same time.
It's like vomit on The screen.

I mean sometimes I am like : are they serious ?

I play HC, I did not die yet ( lvl80 main char so only t6 maps at the moment)

But the encounters are just hilarious, it's ridiculously unreadable action.
I survived because I am jugger but I tank almost everything cause it's a real mess.

Clusters, particles, lasers, green vomit everywhere.

I would pay for an option to get ride of the particules and ridiculously rainbowed shiny shitty ugly effects.

It's really sad, cause I am sure there is some interesting mechanics behind this.

But really, GGG must learn to keep action readable, especially for meleers like me, who are in middle of this vomit.

I mean, every bosses encounters are clear, readable, you can understand telegraphed strong attacks etc.
But syndicate is just : WTF.

For everything else the game is better and better.

But I think this league is a fail.
Unreadable action.

I just came back to the game, and saw the patch note.
Looks promising 😊

My responses over the past two pages have given you several example, but again you choose to prove my point: You don't listen to anyone and deny blame. This is why you are (correctly) regarded as a troll.

actually, you failed to cite a single example.

same with last time.

and you confuse "listen to" with "believe."

I definitely did not, but at this point it's more your problem than mine. You're the one everyone regards as a troll, and it's you that it bothers. The rest of us are happy to continue thinking very little of you for as long as you're unwilling to change.

1. you definitely did (fail to cite a single example)
2. now it bothers me? i find it highly entertaining. you really know your stuff! tell me more about me!
3. change? why would i change? because internet strangers who want a video game to be easier don't like me?

I suppose it depends a lot on your actual build. Many people have issues and non.issues with different Syndicate members.

Also, staying with Tora and It, suggesting chaos resistance brings up another question: isn't it still a bad design despite having ways to mitigate the damage? I mean, it's great that It's off-screen channeled, barely telegraphed huge chaos aoe-slam doesn't one-shot you with chaos res, but it it is still a badly implemented mechanic.

Difficulty can be achieved many ways. I think the mastermind fight (check it out on youtube if you haven't seen it yet) is a very good way of introducing hard content for hardcora and casual players alike. Don't get me wrong, it is an absolute catastrophy first, because the game does a terrible job explaining this non-intuitive mechanic, but let's say we all know by now how the fight goes: it's fun and challening.

Fights against certain syndicate members are (were? didn't play on the new patch yet) simply cheap, and dying to cheap things doesn't feel good. And to reiterate what I've said: it forks two ways from here. One one hand, you and others say to pack up more defenses and now that we know that they have these BS mechanics, we can play around that, ie. if you keep dashing away after every second, you probably won't be hit by It's hand-slam. On the other hand, it is a legitimate complain that this artificial, cheap difficulty is not fun for many people.

I am personally not against to make Safehouse fights harder, so it won't be just a free run-in. Put pillars there, make phases, make the fight harder according the Syndicate numbers and level, etc. I don't mind; a raid for tons of loot SHOULD be hard. But it's not, it's a joke. A random encounter on the other hand which you face in every. single. map. ... that shouldn't define your entire build and playstyle, at least not until you reach the endgame stage of the game; feel free to decide from which tier maps you consider mapping endgame content.

Even beyond all that, people were having troubles in the campaign due to how badly it was designed and balanced. You're not going to have 5k health in Act 6 or 7 on most builds, for example. That's why most of the trollish nonsense about people's builds is so laughably fallacious. Well, that, and back when the game had the "challenge" these guys are talking about, you couldn't really take damage nodes on the tree because it was all "path of hp nodes." It was a horrible game state, incredibly boring, and I think GGG saw that they were beginning to lose a steady player base as a result. That's why it doesn't matter how much these guys howl at the moon over "casualization," it's objectively better for the game for GGG to go this way.

Ask Blizzard about it. All of their games are horribly skewed towards casuals. Sure they are popular but their skill ceiling is in the dumps because of it.

Starcraft? Even with all the "help" in the second game, it's still easily among the hardest games out there to play competitively.

this would be an argument...

if i (or anyone in this thread) was ever referring to having 5k hp at act 6 or 7.

more straw.

also, lolz @ not taking damage nodes on the tree. you actually believe this crap, don't you?
