I will play both, as they both seem different in their own ways. Not only that; PoE is a F2P game, so its a win-win situation for the customers. I will get both and enjoy them equally most likely.

I think it would be a smart move to go open beta somewhere in or after summer. The diablo3 storm will be over by then and GGG can copy anything that's good from it and make PoE the best rpg around.

as of what i have seen in diablo 3 ( playing beta ) there is non 1 no freedom in car development ( less ) u pick a class and u get all the skills while lvling up yea u got items ( same as mmo ) every one will wear the same shit in the end 2 Forced group i can only fast join games IA join whit random players u cant find game,s with like lvl 1 to end act 5 ore role play only u can only fast join ( 1 bottom to join game and then select witch quest u want to do and it is randomly 3 liniar paths u join a game ( and even wen u got tp,s that are further up e head of the rest ( u cant use them becous thay are blocked ) 4 pvp no open world pvp ( forced to join arena ) lvl 9 twin pvp and more of that kind of stuff is gone 5 social look ebove even in beta * witch i am in * totaly no communication what so ever u fast join a game to kill the skelly king and drop out asap ( rens repeat ) 6 battle net 2.0 look how it fuckedup the ums is in starcraft 2 ( and no not even close to getting changed ( many are pissed ebout it and a lot of map makers stoped working on it * no way 2 host ure own games so maps that are fun but not in the top 15 woont get played no chat ( look social ) 7 real ah actoin house is oke np whit that whit real mony the game will all be ebout hitting the jackpot ( thats the replayebiliy of the game ) 8 cookie cutter even more so now then in diablo 3 everyone will use cookie cutter build same skill set and same items no more leap barb ore charge pala * for example yea in diablo 2 a lot use the same build but u had the optoin to go difrent :) diablo 2 was a cRPG Diablo 3 is a co op MMO same as mmo ( u get every skill and tweak whit items ) ( every one will be the same soon ) ( grouping only to get better items ) and a lot more but u will find out and u will see wen u play the game ure selfs it looks like diablo 2 ( grafics ) it plays like diablo 2 ( controls ) but the rest is a copie from a MMO like WOW and not talking ebout the graphics the game play is like 70% MMO whiteout the MMo compare it to wow and the things that are difrent are 1 isometric view 2 max 4 players per server find mo somting ells that's different cues i cant find it i am a gamer sins the tape p.c,s played diablo 1 sins start diablo 3 is not a true diablo followup as diablo was ( core game play don't get me wrong the day i got the beta key my spine tingled i was excited beyond comprehensions w8ted for a exp/ sequel sins 2002 i totaly love isometric view rpg,s same as divine divinity sacred diablo liongate ( crusade ) and many more but diablo 3 pisses me of and u can tell that the defs that worked on wow worked on diablo 3 blizzard is my number 1 company but its dropping down my list sins starcraft 2 and many more things i doont even wanne spend my time on i am realy pissed *( got beta played 1 hour ) posted on the forums the top 10 tings i liked about the game and top 10 things i dident like and top 10 things i dident care bout u know thay deleated it i used google ( the cash of google ) and found out 95% of the posts whit anything bad about d3 on the forums was deleted i need 2 get used that blizzard and the company it used 2 be and its going the wrong way * i stopped auto buying there game,s sins yesterday hope this is the responds u was looking for if all my game,s where not on my blizz account i would give any one here the acount so thay could find out for them self's blizzard changed ( peroid ) the wole core groupe that worked on the blizzard game,s all left the company * almost all of them inc the group that worked on the original WOW @dragnar <<< ingame or pm me Last edited by dragnar#5819 on Mar 20, 2012, 1:53:48 PM

Darn, I really have to try and get a key for PoE. I need to find out if it's good enough for me, to cancel my pre-ordered copy of D3. I'm hearing so much bad about it lately, that I'm not really sure I want to pay full price for it. And if PoE could satisfy my Hack'n Slash needs, I might not even order D3 at all...
