Is syndicate grossly overtuned?

RedMap :

5687 HP. 526 ES. MOM and around 1500 unreserved mana + Phase/Acrobatics. Flasks poped up (Stibnite and Basalt)

Got one shot by a far shot.

I am now fed up, and going to do like everyone : block the syndicate in their laboratory and skip them 'till the end of the league.

I have. They either teleport or run back when damaged.

Not that you can find them through all the fog and bodies anyway.

I will agree on one thing. Stand still you die. GG Melee builds, devs must really hate 'em.
When it comes to red maps, yes I believe their scaling is a bit much.
I skip Forts 100%. I only engage in Transportation and intervention. Research...I have to be in the mood, but thats almost as rippy as Forts.

I would say that a solid 90-95% of my deaths are due to syndicate members, with 90% of those from Fortifications and Research.


-Too much visual clutter, cant see whats going on.
-Multiple oneshot abilities winding up on your location

The league idea is sound though, my fav so far, though I would have loved delve if I played during delve.

GGG has stood their ground on many occasions but what they do have is telementary data of how many players locked the league totally and how often the syndicate members killed players.

There is no justification for the amount of damage and mob clutter syndicate encounters generate.

Although I liked the challenge, I felt like I was completely wasting my time by not locking the event. The rewards were just not enough to justify things like being sniped offscreen for half my health.
