Is syndicate grossly overtuned?

the syndicate is retardedly op. It is not so bad with the bosses althought they are doing a lot of dps and have huge hp pools but the fucking endless waves of adds that are being spawned. The adds are causing me a lot more grief then the actual bosses at this point and a lot of them are having more HP and dps than the end map boss. How can a yellow mob be more powerful than the end boss of the map that is what i want to know? On top of that these mobs are not giving any xp of any sort plus their range attacks are 2 screens away which makes it impossible for you to go near them in order to kill them and god forbid you do kill them they just re-spawn with dps auras at which point you are dead. The whole event is waaay overturned.

If your in the middle of adds your in the wrong place amigo... Thats insta death. You need to move and stay ahead of the mob wave. You have to crowd control and fight from ahead of the pack.
Lots of ways to lock down trash mobs and not get zerged in this game. when you think about it syndicate is delve in maps now. Trash with super mobs. NS " |

" While I agree that betrayal mobs are overtuned, that statement really says more about the pitiful state map bosses are in. More than half of them are more than outdated. Look at guys like the t12 castle ruins boss. It's good old kraytin from version 1.0 or something. Anyone ever died to that dude? Anyone ever was afraid of him? PoE is really only frightening when a lot of stuff combines. Like a multiple essence mob that is also possessed by a ghost and also happens to be a bestiary mob, and it also has map mods. And then it decides to roll a couple crits in a row, ideally based on lightning damage (that already has the biggest variance). Currently, betrayal mobs are a bit like that (at the start of a league, we don't fully understand what they do to begin with, as far as we can tell, they are dangerous on their own, they have ranks and access to items, a variety of buffs from friends that are also pretty tanky and bloodthirsty, and they have map mods). The most retarded thing about this syndicates are not only the hard to see one shot mechanics but the most annoying of all things are the endless mobs. Why endless? I get that they were supposed to be all immortal, but stop spawning 'immediately' again and again.

I must say that in fortification that spawns in map there are green balls that takes more that 600+ hp on hit they + summoners that are rare and cast projectile spells wwith agony crawlres that hit hard + 3 syndicate members that have high chance of oneshoting you SO you have only 2 options...either boost your damage so you melt them before they kill you or get tanky or evade all attacks so mele build at close range have high chance of being oneshoted which means even when you have a 4-5k+ life and overcapped 100+ % ressist you can get oneshoted also in sydicate laboratory ...the attacks of them are too OP and not balanced for regular players that are not experienced in this game since its part of league and you meet them all the time it should be nerfed singe uber elder is one thing you can or cant do and still even its balanced and can be killed with many builds i will hope they nerf at least damage of map appeared syndicates and keep the boss fights of them when u open portals from Jun

Well, some captains (3 stars) one shots me at red maps. 7k life and armor based. I guess it's my fault for going melee.

A lot of you mention don’t go into forts, lure them out.
You do that, about 3/4 into their health they teleport back to the totems in the fort to heal. Rinse and repeat, they can literally do that forever. You literally have to destroy those healing totems in the fort to beat them. |
