Is syndicate grossly overtuned?

This patch is truly bittersweet, because some clowns who haven’t even made it out of campaign were vehemently opposing the damage nerf.

Now they will never know the true damage of Syndicate members in red maps, nor will they get to put their money where their mouths are. Talking big, so many of these jokers.

They will actually teleport out of the Fortification while the gate is up, in fact, that's what causes them to teleport in the first place! Try this method out, I think you will find it effective. I can help in game if you'd like?


RedMap :

5687 HP. 526 ES. MOM and around 1500 unreserved mana + Phase/Acrobatics. Flasks poped up (Stibnite and Basalt)

Got one shot by a far shot.

I am now fed up, and going to do like everyone : block the syndicate in their laboratory and skip them 'till the end of the league.


It can be brutal, possibly too much so at times. However, I do find it to be quite enjoyably challenging. The one-shot mechanics are unforgiving certainly, but as the league progresses I am finding more and more ways to play to engagements. Stacking Chaos res, or at least having an amethyst available, helps TREMENDOUSLY.

It was obvious from the get-go that nerfs were inbound. That's what their money flow demanded. Even worse, now that GGG has seen how many dirty hypocrites there are amongst the 'make game harder, stop power creep' - elitists, the few of us who truly wanted that can kiss the dream a goodbye.

It was fun while it lasted. I'm curious to see how hard the game'll be dumbed down in the next few leagues.
Perfect problem fix:

No auto activate syndicate, ex:

Fortress dont attack you if you just pass thru, only if youstart attacking gates. Same with caravan and other auto activate bullshit.

You're right, it DID sound cooler in my head. Still, calling the people who didn't want a nerf "ass-lickers" is kind of a shitty thing to do, and we're all poorer for it. So we all lose. Plus those of us wanted to see the syndicate get nerfed were pretty damned whiny about it, especially considering that you can chose to avoid the content on higher maps and just engage it where and when you want. So we all kinda suck. Plus you made me explain a crap joke, which again lowers us all in a way. And really, the original comment about us all losing was barely worth the time it took to read it the first time through. Now? Ugh! So. Much. Losing.

Killed shaper some days into the league, hovering around 7k ehp with enfeeble, temp chains etc. on my Mom Winter orb cwc ice spear occultism with around 1.6 million damage unbuffed in PoB. I can assure you that Syndicate members even in t16 maps are easily manageable. Get a proper build bevor whining that end game content is hard. The game had a real power gap between maps and shaper, uber atziri etc. that's fixed now.
I liked the nerf like they should not HIT HARDER than uber elder or Aul I don't think that's intended.

Aul and uber elder are basically the pinnacle of end game and when basically trash mobs hit harder than the final bosses that's a big issue imo

Stop overreacting they don't hit harder than guardians etc. A multi dps mod shaper guardian can delete a mana guardian with a unlucky crit, Syndicate members can't.

No they do and I play 24/7 kill uber elder all day all night farm it like a boss compared to me my opinion has more credibility.

T16 8 mods corruptions spam all day all night because I have infinite resources you can not challenge me unless you have my resources and an entire clan to back the facts up.

They hit harder than uber elder aul itself because I can promise you here and now you have zero experience compared to me in how much I do or play and as an elitist well semi-elitist to a degree I'm not usually a jerk maybe here sure.
