40 challenges rant - just needed to get this off my chest.

I agree with OP. I’m also a casual but I generally aim for 40/40 each league. In the past, it’s not too hard to achieve even with restricted playtime if ure focused on getting the challenges and play meta builds to achieve them.

League challenges have gotten more and more grindy and rng in recent leagues where knowledge and smart plays matter less than it used to.

Never seen a 4 socket resonator.

Gongratz man for 40/40.
I have delve 600 left, will grind it and im done too for the league.

20-25 hours a week is a part time job. In no way is that casual play. Most people dont even play a single game for 20 hours and the ones that do complete those 20 hours games still take a few weeks to do it.

A casual gamer would be someone who plays probably half that time or less in a week.

- can't come up with a build that can do red maps myself
- if I run the same map more than 3 times consecutively I get nauseous (yes this includes uber lab)
- never had a HH drop, shit never had a Doctor drop
- finish the ten acts in the first playthrough of the league in like 15 hours

The thread idea was to see if any other people had issues with the lab runs for end game grinds but I guess it's such a small niche that it'll never get enough traction to get noticed by GGG so I guess I better oil up for next leagues' lab runs.

Or maybe I'll just do 37.

Yea but I "work" on weekends too :)
Also I can acknowledge that there are gamer tiers below casual (speaking strictly in the PoE world)

True, but I have to point out that in my previous 40/40 I usually got them done between the 1.5 months and 2 months mark, while playing much less than now. Challenges are becoming even MORE grindier than say perandus or prophecy.

I miss running 6 rotations of Eater of souls or wolf king for end game grinds :(
