Are there any games with a worse trade system?

Curious, any games that are worse at this?

You have to tab out of the game, you find a product, there is a 25 to 90% chance they won't respond (25% at the start of the league, 90% a month in). You tab back out, you ask again, rinse and repeat. Destroys immersion, clumsy, repetitive, annoying.

On top of all that, no effort to improve the process. Players that dont respond.. no way to give them negative feedback so other buyers avoid them, no way to sort them out on PoE trade. Nothing.

Im not asking for an auction house or automated transfer. GGG is far too stubborn and doesnt listen to players for that.

Just curious, is anyone worse at trade than GGG? Is any system more clumsy, is anything worse than this?

once you get used to the trade system, or rather lack of one, it is plenty fine.
now that there is an official trade site on pathofexile.com itself i think its good enough. could it be better? sure. but people still do absolutely fine in trading. people flip and make mirrors within a weeks time. people get what stuff they want, and they can sell stuff they want.

people that don't want to deal with trade just don't or play SSF.

Ok. But, have you ever played a game with a worse system? What was it.

Yes, there have been worse trading systems...
basically any and every MMO i've played has had worse trade systems.

once they adopted the shop type of thing it turned out to be okay but before that just spamming chat, much like how PoE used to be, is absolutely horrible.

and actually, poe has had a worse trade system. before path of exiles trade website, and before poe.trade, ya it was way worse.
No

wow ah was awesome, and you could actually get sales when you weren't logged in. What a concept!!! Now there are benefits to this system if you can at least stay logged in on all the time, but this is basically the system that diablo 2 had 20 years ago...literally was exactly that at launch.

At launch you had to make forum posts and hope someone looked through your shit, this is slightly better but still a DECADE behind everything else on the market. Quite odd when you consider the Chinese server has an ah...not like they don't have the code....

Mass POM and HP and SoW and Regen at the fountain 2 minutes! Haha, I have fond memories.

But in the end, EQ instituted an auction house. You could buy anything automatically from anyone online or not, ingame and not on some website, near instant, and any sales you found were real as opposed to ignoring you or "Naw i alrdy sold it stfu"

So I guess I would say 20 years ago some games were worse, but even they got much better over a decade ago.

So, with no time limits, maybe the answer is PoE is not the worst there has ever been.... hmm.
d2jsp was pretty fricken awful..

Yep, totally over league play.
