Am I excited ?! - NOPE !

And here's why :

1. This seems to be just another "league". Which is pointless stuff.
As a lifelong gamer ( 33 years of gaming and keep going ) I can call "Good stuff" only the things which lasts. Leagues DOES NOT. The "Standard" is silently screaming in deadly pain, and none is hearing it's voice. But when it dies - it will took the game with it.

2. There is no single sign of reverting the stupidity called "3.0 ubernerf".
I am not playing games where the nerfing is the main mechanics of "expansions" and "leagues".
It is just a big waste of times with no happiness as result, and the happiness is everything I am expecting from a game, else it would be just another someone's else pocket to feed with my money. Isn't it?

3. There is not a single sign that the strategy of trolling the players will stop.
Disregarding how cool is PoE, and how great stuff it provide - it DOES TROLLING THE PLAYERS !
It doing it by many ways, trough nerfing, trough removing viable items, trough limiting the options, trough destroying a builds... etc. I doubt that someone would love to go to work happy that he never rest to build something in the company he is working it, and at the morning and reveal that he is fired and even own money to his boss. This is exactly what's happen in here.

GGG - If You are serious about this game - Please change my mind.
Just one very disappointed PoE fan.
CI casters made PoE to the top, and GGG decided to kill them.
Best decision ever!

Can you find shaper items in dungeon? mostlikely 90%+ poeople ar playing dungeon instead of maps at end game so i would like to know if you can get shaped items from dungeon mobs and/or chests.

not going to read thru all, but is it going to be one of those things where I have to play thru all 10 Acts AGAIN to play?

Please let us dive into this after Hillock for some variety

Elemental spell projectile? Yes. Physical attack projectile? Yes (even if none of them are good). But not physical spell. Also, it works only with clear speed meta (you have to keep killing to keep them up) and is useless on bosses for obvious reasons. And something like this can be said about almost all new things. A lot of interesting concepts, but way too disconnected from reality to work.


What and playing maps up to T11 is not endgame. Maybe you better had tell GGG that the only endgame is fighting Uber Shaper Uber Elder, because they do define maps as endgame. Right now I am along with no doubt others perfectlly fine only playing upt to mid tier maps along with a few T11's if that is as far as I can go. I will still call it a successful build because I got what I initially wanted out of it. Maps at T11 are more than half way into the maps. I fail to see how you consider it not even scratching endgame content.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that there are not a lot of skills that can't be used at all. Where they are useless to everyone. That is no doubt the case. But still there are those that have made builds that have given them what they wanted out of it and in that case it was a successful build.
Man that Smite looks cool !

I hope it has better performance than multi proj Lightning Strike so I can finally do a similar build, always liked lightning melee !

As interesting as this mine sounds, it will not work. (the same reason as bestiary league; anything that remotely slows down the player's clear speed will most likely considered to be useless....people will say it is "clunky")

for example:

I am going to farm a T12 map in 2-3 min or I can slowly walked around to escort a little cart....

I can farm 1hr in maps to get enough currency to buy almost any of the mine's items that can be obtained in a 4-5hr farm inside the mine... why would I spent 4 times amount of time in that situation?

another problem is only the meta builds will be played.

if your build is not meta, well, your mine exploration will not get too far. no sustain? no go, not enough damage? no go. no way to clear ailment? no go. can't maneuver around close range proximity? no go.

ps. I can't even imagine how frustrated when minions run off on their own in to the dark and get killed or flicker strike into the dark and get killed.

pps. Now I really start to question about the longevity of the game now.
Also, is there any plan to improve game performance in Ashen Fields and similar recent areas ?

No matter what I do I get about 10/20 fps in that zone, a bit better but about the same for Ravaged Square, Torched Courts and the maps using these assets. I guess fire is the problem.
Herald of Ice is better but still have some big drops, and most detailed area skills are unusable for me from act ten and starting maps (Earthquake, Ground Slam, Molten Strike, Caustic Arrow, Tornado Shot, Bladefall, Kinetic Blast, and Spectral Throw having the biggest impact on performance). Lightning Ground effects are still destroying FPS too.

People who can't afford last gen CPU can't really play the game properly* after the Acts, although your requirements has been the same for years. (lol at the disk space required)

I would really like some serious performance improvements, please.


Anyway, I am pretty excited for the new content as always, nice new ideas, great to see new skills still being made. Also was a big fan of Torchlight dungeon so this is pretty welcome. Nice job guys.
