Honestly HeadHunter Should Be Nerfed/Removed From The Game

how many players can afford this belt? 0,1%
big deal
HH maybe a fancy item to have but i am pretty sure many players reach 100 without it or make awesome builds with other belts for faster clearing.

Cept the OP

OMEGALUL
Dys an sohm
Rohs an kyn
Sahl djahs afah
Mah morn narr
Headhunter is only good when having fast clearspeed and a good build already

Also no reason to nerf an item 99.9% of players can't get
Need more brains, exile?
OP seems to completly forget about certain key elements about what makes poe a [fun] game. there need to be extremely powerfull builds as long as they are equally as inexcessible by gating it behind wealth (as long as we have trading, this should never change). In addition to that, HH can not be used to farm bosses like Shaper/elder. it is entirely a tool to speed up mapfarming, that comes with a big pricetag/rarity.

HH is not an item that stresses the server because only so few copies of this item exist. most players will never even get close to owning one, unlike the wormblaster or CoC stuff because its not that hard to get the items even for a more casual player.
Let's just nerf every interesting, chase item so that all gear is just average crap and no one has a reason to hope for a special drop anymore.

What is it with people just wanting to shit all over fun. Is it envy? Is this part of the whole "If I can't get it neither can you" mentality? Is this video game socialism at its finest, to throw around socially sensitive words?

Such behavior is mostly seen with old members who have played for years but can't manage to achieve anything or complete their goals because they don't have the qualities to achieve them, unlike top players. So in order to relieve the pain of never being as good or as wealthy, they resort to envy, excuses and screeching for nerfs. You see this all the time here in other forms too - someone comments that some boss is way too OP, only for you to realize that their character is completely garbage. They can't accept that they themselves suck.
Same thing in other games - "This enemy X hero OP", "Nerf this X class" etc.

Almost all of the nerfs here aren't suggested for their own classes / playstyles, which they could give the most accurate and experienced opinion on, but instead it's always the other players playstyles / characters on whom they have no experience or knowledge to comment on.

I can bet my last buck that the OP has never had a Headhunter himself during his 6 years in PoE.

I am literally that long time player that has never seen a HH or a Kaom's Heart (my pants would be soaked if it dropped), and not once have I ever thought a piece of gear should be nerfed, or a class, or a skill even.

I despise those that so closely resemble me but call for nerfs, then.

It's not because you have the same qualities but because you're in a group where more players sit in and where such behavior is being bred. It's really hard to be frustrated about something when you do actually achieve what you want. PoE players often have high requirements for their goals and people set their expectations a lot higher than they realistically could achieve. You obviously haven't set your expectations higher than you can achieve.

Same story in other games:

I played LoL professionally and was GM in Overwatch, when I was smurfing I had people almost every second match read me morals on that I'm a bad person and how I should play in my own elo etc.

Also I had more people flaming me that I play bad( while being one of the best in the server) because there were more people who thought they deserve X but haven't reached it in a long time, so they think they themselves can't possibly be the problem.
Once I reached higher tiers where people were more contempt with where they are, never did I even imagine getting such messages, although I still completely stomped them with the same or even higher win rate as in lower tiers.

Neah, it's the fact that most players conveniently forget that you have to "work" (can it be called "work" as long as you have "fun"???) towards improving yourself and reaching set goals.

The old school gamers that "grew up" with punishing games should have no problem with the current "holding your hand, giving you a cake and allowing you to eat it while you win" games... Those are @#%% easy for us "ancient dinos" (there are more than the T-Rexs around here ^^) and we always ROFL STOMP easy content because we have the skillplay and the experience of those actually HARD titles "under our belts"...

I still don't understand why people are so against "Opie-Op" items as long as they are actually "balanced", it's like they don't want to have "fun"... And I do say just "Opie-Op", not outright game breaking...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...
