Incursion Timer
People who limit themselves to slow/tanky builds will have a problem, but that is their problem not the rest of our problem. I have built builds of all types and have no problem making a build for a certain league. Honestly this helps build diversity for the players. It may force some out of their comfort zone, which is a good thing.
Anyone calling out people playing a speed build (or any type build) is ignorant. Just because you don't like that kind of build it does not mean others can't/don't enjoy it. Again I have played all types since closed beta. I tend to map out my own builds and rarely use a guide. If you don't want to or can't figure out how to do a clear speed build then either learn or skip the content. Don't force the rest of us, who like some tension from the timers, to lose out on a league that does just that. I hated Bestiary, but did not have a problem with them having the league for those that did like it. I could do it, I just found the mechanics boring. Yet, I did not advocate against them building a pokemon league or the players who liked it. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

" You mean like how speedbuilders didn't complain about Bestiary which didn't make GGG change the entire thing by including necro nets etc, ruining the entire point and feel of the league? I never said no one can enjoy speed builds. I've said, how about not excluding slower builds. I've done all kinds of builds and simply prefer one that doesn't even see the actual game behind all the dead monsters you never even saw being alive. And I doubt that Im alone. People who limited themself to speed builds had a problem in bestiary, but that didn't stop them from forcing GGG to change it. If they can change Bestiary for speedsters, why can't they change Incursion for the rest of us? Literally nothign will change from not having a timer. If you play a speed build, you won't feel even the slightest tension from the timers. Only slower builds will and if you enjoy taking your time, you don't want a timer anyway. Again, just like with all end-end game like uber atziri etc, the last temple in mid-high tier maps doesn't have to be available to everyone. That's fine. But putting a timer in Incursions will exclude slower builds from everything. Just like Rampage, breach and abyss did. soon they'll put a timer on the story just to please clear-speed |

Putting timer makes it competitive..its what 99% want
If u dont...then go play another game.. |

If it'll be like Zana timed mission where you kill monsters for extra time it'll be fine for almost any build imho.
If it'll be stricter many more will struggle. And a lot will struggle in low lvl areas, unless the timer/size is adjusted accordingly to the lower speed/clearspeed at those low lvls. "Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"

" I'm not mixing things up. You could still get locked out of content in d2, the only difference is that D2 had less content and thus less specialization. Immunities locked builds out of certain areas all the time, and even the most versatile teleporting hammerdin was still prevented from killing magic immunes while everyone else had to skip magic/phys immunes. If it took you 10 minutes to kill regular diablo, you probably weren't gonna kill baal as you'd get overwhelmed by his minion waves in the first phase, if you could even make it to throne room. To this day I still dread stygian dolls and burning souls and I haven't touched D2 in years. The only equivalent to Poe's end game content like elder/shaper/atziri D2 had was ubers, and even getting the keys to open the portal to get uber Diablo was restrictive. Soloing Uber Diablo was extremely restrictive and was locked out to a select handful of builds. I totally get not wanting to feel restricted by timers - but the reality is there's always a performance gate. For the longest time my characters were relegated to nightmare because they weren't geared and designed efficiently enough to access hell content reliably. Once I became familiar with the performance requirements necessary to play on that difficulty, I realized my options for said content were naturally limited by the game mechanics. In other words, the game mechanics naturally act as a gate to higher level content. A timer is most often used as a gimmick to create a sense of urgency. If a character performs so poorly that it would struggle with zana timed missions, the fault lies with the player for expecting a subpar character deserving the right to access all content. Yep, totally over league play.
