im like "why just stop playing is it really worth the time to uninstall?"
I dont see any any key!

players shitstormed at innovations like phylacteral link where monsters can't be "just killed", players raged about labyrinth cause raw damage cannot help you master indestructible traps, players raised hell for dying to reflect and players would also go rampage against new stuff like monsters that turn overkill damage into massively added life, more tankiness and more damage to surrounding monsters.

ggg can't exchange their player base.

can't comment on the shaper fight cause it's out of my league but generally bosses i do felt much more safe with melee than with the ranger i currently run, especially in small arenas with no safe spots.

I can see why players would shitstorm about changes like phylacteral link, reflect, and HP buffs. Because these changes are made on their own. They aren't coupled with changes that make the incoming DPS realistic. When any viable build has to rely on killing mobs before the mobs kill you because, if you don't, the mobs will instantly kill you. Is it any wonder why people complain about something that increases the time it takes to kill mobs? I doubt anyone would give a fuck about phylacteral link, reflect, and hp buffs if the incoming DPS was actually manageable. If the result of these changes wasn't instant death to boring mechanics, you wouldn't see such an uproar.

No sense keeping a game on my hard drive if I'm never going to play it again. There's also the fact most people with a computer made after 2001 have SSDs, which don't always have massive amounts of space. Even a 500gb SSD can quickly run out of space if you have a bunch of games installed, like many gamers do. Couple that with the fact that SSDs lose performance as the hard drive fills up.

um you are kinda way off SSDs were extremely rare until about 2008 and even then they were hardly standard

Today I've uninstalled PoE. End game content is garbage. One shot/instant death/random death mechanics are not fun. There's nothing enjoyable about them. You've effectively pigeon holed the entire community into a handful of builds with the one shot spam. Elder is not fun. Elder influence is not fun. Chasing elder around to get shitty drops is not fun.

The decision to uninstall came after I bought a shaper set, and tried to run shaper for the first time. I've seen enough videos that I understand the mechanics. I handled the beam fine. I kept zana alive through the portal phase. My deaths came from random instant death, that I have no clue of the source. I wasn't in the beam. The only thing I can think is it was the circles on the ground, which he stands on top of, preventing any melee character from applying dps.

I've spent $55 on this game, and I regret every penny. I will not spend another dime on this game, nor will I play it in the future. No you can't have my stuff, the game is already uninstalled. Keep at it, GGG. Solid game design. Now I'll find something else to do while I watch Netflix.

Your second sentence almost lost me. Then I realized you were referring to the shaper/elder stuff. My solution is to ignore that stuff that is not fun to me. At least the best I can since I also find Labyrinth not fun but I'm forced to run that horrible content. Chasing shaper/elder around the atlas though is totally optional.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

Shaper is 100% a mechanical fight. If you know the mechanics you can do it with 1hp. There's clearly something that you had not noticed from the YouTube videos you watched. Not killing a boss on your first try really isn't a valid reason to uninstall IMO.

Yup, there are even videos of people doing it with 1 hp.
Buff life on the right side of the tree! Just a little! Pretty Please!
