can't comment on the shaper fight cause it's out of my league but generally bosses i do felt much more safe with melee than with the ranger i currently run, especially in small arenas with no safe spots.
best way to play labyrinth is still with 50% movement speed boots, 10k+ life and no other defences, not even capped resistances. Ranged ofc.

You and me both know the shapers hit boxes are fucked. When he does the beam the radius of damage is a lot bigger than the animation.

Shapers hit boxes can be fucked, but hey, look at OP's build. He is lvl 88, with medicore gear, crappy jewels, gems on 19-20 lvl without any quality... And with all of this he claim's "I have 1M DPS with flasks". Probably agains normal monsters. No wonder Shaper screwed him up in first fight. In addition, the guy has no experience in endgame boss fights. Look at his "complete endgame grind" challenge. One (1!!) Shapers guardian killed. And let me guess, Hydra probably. Certainly not a Chimera or especialy Phoenix.
In summary, given his skills and experience in connection with crappy gear, the guy had no chance to even scratch the Shaper. Maybe a player with very good knowledge of Shaper's mechanic would be able to do it even with such lvl 88, poor equipped char, but come on, not OP, with all respect to his efforts... And let somebody put this OP's juggernaut to PoB or smoething and calculate his real DPS, I can't do it myself at the moment :)

It's not mechanical WTF. Atziri is mechanical, but shaper is a DPS test. The fact that anomoly's can randomly spawn and completely fill the screen/screw you over time does not make it a mechanical fight, you're running on a clock, where as atziri the fight is consistent throughout.

Well dang thats funny. I decided to kill him for the first time this league too, nothing better to do. Tanked every attack, positioned smartly so the blobs were not a problem, am not a one shot build either.
Weird how that works.

It's like 980k with all flasks active, if enemy is chilled. It's higher if you consider Vaal Haste and Ancestral Protector.
Against Shaper, it's 700k if chilled, 500k if not chilled. With no flasks active, if shaper not chilled, it says 250k dps.
That's with glacial hammer btw.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Actually, it's 1m shaper DPS. Maybe you should've put it into PoB before making yourself look a fool.
It was also, in fact, Phoenix.
