Hardest build to die with in Hardcore?

All other builds cant even compete in tankyness, be it spectre necro with every life nod in passive tree or some max block gladiator.

Totem juggs with super high regen like 3-4K.

But what's the fun in that? Just to say "I did Hardcore"?

Nobody will care unless you're first. Like first to 100 or First to kill uber elder. And even then 95% wont care.

I like HC builds that live on edge so you can die for mistakes. Like wander is what I did last time. But really HC is pointless now they dont have special MTX, for me at least. GGG was so dumb changing rewards to same as SC gets.

The goal of not dying is a goal worthy of playing for, otherwise what's the goal of PoE? Do maps? Uber elder? Get rich? Sounds boring to me, just grind grind grind for no reason other than to grind more. Hardcore gives PoE a meaning

The LL/CI Aegis Guardian is currently the hardest build to die in the game atm. Nearly, invincible to all damage, far more than any Jugg build when the build is properly geared.

The cheapest version of the build costs about a 60c+ to start-up. The most expensive part is the 5 reckless defense jewels which go for 10c+ a pop. The rest of the items can be relatively cheap for a couple of c.

DPS is low with such a defensive build, but the tankiness is so impossibly high that it has some insane feats of tankiness in the game already, like being able to facetank bullet hell for Shaper without Zana and doing HoGM effortlessly. And it brute force kills Shaper because the build can facetank all of Shaper's Mechanics and ignores all the degen.

So, you can kill Shaper one a 1-link if you wanted to on this build if you don't mind taking forever.



But again, like others have mentioned. Even, with the strongest tank such as this one. You can and will die to certain attacks and mechanics if your not paying attention. The game has attacks that are just numerically impossible to tank even with the best defenses (atziri's flameblast) and some attacks that outright kill you. IE. Elder's Explosion.

So, if you are still relatively new you should probably start in softcore with a build and learn a bit before you go to hardcore and risk losing all your progress.

That guardian build is insanely tanky indeed. It's also completely unattainable to a new HC player. Good luck farming to even begin to get there.

That's why I recommended the gladiator blocker. It's dirt cheap in comparison.

I've swapped belly for bringer of rain, helmet + armor for 1c? That's what I call budget

I don't like totems or minions, and I was looking at other builds, I looked at every single build of the first 3 pages of all classes, but the only one I found that didn't have any of those problems: entire build cheaper than 3 ex | can clear even the highest maps very fast | can beat elder fast and easy | at least 8K Life/ES/combination of Life and MoM | at least 1 more big defensive mechanism such as max block or high regen (2K+ per sec) or perm IC or something like that

The main limiter being the price, as a starter and someone who HATES grinding I don't want to spend any more than a few dozen chaos at most for my build, and the build above satisfies all my conditions and is that cheap. BoR for 1c, one handed sword with 300pDPS for 3c, other rares for a few c as well. With the HC variation without expensive gear in PoB I still get a few hundred K dps vs shaper and over 7k Life as well all the other defensive mechanisms such as blind max block/spell block and a few others
