how does it matter? some time ago u got with nicely shaped atlas, some mf mostly 1 map back per map sometimes even more now with alch chisel and breach u get nothing

" Well, bad RNG follows me all this league! I have just finished Temple (lv80) with map's room (lv2) and got only 2 red maps. At the same time Corraption room destroyed my Inpulsa's Broken Heart. /Cry So far I have had Doryani's Institute 5 times (!!!) and every f@cking time it deleveled my gems. I kiiled Elder 8 times and did not get anything worthy at all. I think that once I get 26 achievements - I am done with this shit. I am sooo dissapointed. This league is very unlucky for me. |

All of my progression maps have come from Temple and Poe trade.
I was stuck doing T7s (which was ok, I was more concerned with leveling to 90 at the time); and then after having a page of all Cemetery (T6) and Crypt (T7), I did a temple that pushed me to T10s and then another that gave me a bunch of Mesa (T11?) I'm not saying this league has no map mechanics. I'm just saying that for me, Temple is the only thing keeping me going. The maps keep dropping me Crypts and lower, if they even drop a map at all. Anecdotal evidence is just that. This is my anecdotal evidence. |

Again, same complaint every league, either
- Your expectations are ridiculous (e.g I did 10 maps and now I can't sustain t15 on an alc) - Not clearing maps properly - You are just lying. Those are the only options, end of story. Sure you may be unlucky for a few maps, but it has never in all my time playing (6 leagues?) been an issue. I have not bought any maps this league, as I never do any league. 99% running T9/10/11 for leveling so far. Yet I'm sitting on 2k maps, 200'ish~ red maps. Stop spending your time complaining on a forum and just kill stuff. |

The drop rates are bad, it's GGG's way of making the game 'harder', it's an extremely lazy design but I guess it works for them. As long as they keep designing the game based on hardcore play-styles, the rest of us don't really have a chance.
Last league or the league before, getting to 100 was made to take longer, I'm not going to say harder because it isn't, it just takes longer because the drop rates are down and the amount of XP you need was increased, it's akin to giving someone a pair of scissors to cut the lawn. I hadn't reached 100 before this happened, and the way things look I don't think I ever will, low drop rates to slow down progress and the 100 bar is raised ever higher. The worst part is, the people they wanted to slow down barely noticed the change, the only people that suffer from it are the less hardcore players. Making something harder to reach doesn't mean just make it more of a grind. I'm not done with the game yet, but I am feeling less and less compelled to play. My hovercraft is full of eels.

Every single time people complain that 'drops are bad' that is all they have. A broken record. Show some coherent data for a set of maps you run. Hell, I'll even mirror your test just for fun. - Yet, every time people show actual data (plenty of it on Reddit / youtube) it contradicts their whining and just get's told 'well you must have had good rng'. It's hilarious. I literally just did a t9/10(?) level 76/77 temple and came out with 5 red maps with no map room. It's an absolute joke even more-so this league. - I'll agree somewhat with the 95-100 grind, it's more tedious than fun especially if you die a lot like me :) and I too haven't managed it just yet. |

" I playing 9 leagues so far. Always have map issues. Sorry, but not everyone play with aurabots or as broken impulsa BOOM-BOOM-ALL-YOUR-MAPS shit to clear 100 maps per hour. E = mc^(OMG)/wtf

" You're completely right. I've played every single league and there was no league where I had mapping problems. I close to never play parts of meta builds and the last league I played with a buddy was breach. But currently I'm sustaining T15/16s and completely oversustaining currency as a CI, Iron Reflexes wander with Vaal Power Siphon(profile is public as always) and no HH or other broken garbage and no MF at all. I end up playing between 40-70 maps/day.
How I run my maps and more information:

![]() Currently I'm running the Belfrys on the left side for exp(sold exactly 15 for 16c each yesterday because space) and that's how they're rolled: Chisel > Alch > Reroll for ~85 quant > Vaal the ones with 89 or less quant > apply 4 sextants > fill up 4 prophecies while the other 3 slots are blocked with garbage > make sure the 3 maps and prophecies align with the sextants > 2 Sacrifice Pieces > Warbands/Beyond Zana mod mostly on non-vaaled map, depends on sextants again with a few exceptions. I also have endless Shaper/Elder-influence pingponging on my eldered map. This boils down to 25-70c/map and I double my invested currency on every single map. My profit explodes past tripling my invested currency as soon as mods like Hunted Traitors or Monsterous Treasure appear. I do this in batches of 25+ to have a better choice for my sextants. Also I'm switching my T16s around all the time. So far I've had Vault(5/10), Volcano(8.5/10), Maze(6/10) and my current T16 is Underground Sea(9/10) but I ran UGS during Flashback and will change it again soon. My T16 Temple tries to contain: Surveyor's Study(maps), Storage Room(legacy items, maps again), Guardhouse(packsize), Workshop(quantity). My "juiciest" Temple rewarded me with 5x T16s, average is 1.5x T16s. My Atlas bonus is at 149/158, basically every map except all T15/T16s are uncompleted. |
