Map drop rates are broken.

Maps dropping is capped by mobs' restriction. It means it never drops maps that have tier exceeding current map from white mobs.
You're still possible to get T1 maps even if your atlas completion is over 100%.

My experience is anecdotal but infuriating nonetheless. I have been running 9's all week with only a single yep 1(one) T10 drop, I've done numerous L75 temples with no red map drops.

The only red maps I've managed to complete only 2 reds so far and its making leveling extremely difficult :(

Thats interesting. I can run blue tier 9's and get tier 10's all day with little to no effort. Seems RNGesus does not love you.

The reason you are not finding maps is because you have not completed them. I know this is not what you want to hear but if you just buy some maps and get atlas credit for them, they will start dropping for you. I buy about 60-75% of all my maps I have not completed at the beginning of a league. Once I get atlas credit however, they drop all over the place (running decent quantity/pack size maps ofc). I may have to buy one or two when chasing the Elder but I have red maps for days.

L75 is T8. The highest maps that can drop in there is T10. Also the Temple can only drop maps you have unlocked, exceptions can happen with the Vaal Temple T16 or a Corrupting Tempest.

Your highest character in Incursion is level 87. 20-25 alched T7s are easily enough for an entire levelup.

I think this is the main issue here. I've had numerous people contact me for advice only to find they are sitting on less than 100 maps total (Not just red, I mean total, T1 through 16) And confused as to why they can't sustain red maps.

You actually need to make a degree of effort to start. And have a reasonable base to work from. Yes sometimes you can run 2 maps in a row and only get low tier maps, but run 10 and it evens out.

- The map bonus plays a bigger part than people realize, that's why the initial yellow>red seems to be a little tough, but once you hit that 120/130 mark maps just rain on you.

I'm not sure how the temple unique map drops work, maybe uniques are rolled for differently, as I got most of my 1st drops from the temple.

It is an utter embarrassment if you can't sustain maps this league.

Thats a bit harsh, but not far from the truth. Running lvl 83 temples certainly has made it a ton easier , that is for sure.

I could be harsher honestly like it's a complete joke to sustain right now which is a good thing that's not a bad thing.
