Lol. My stat stick dagger adds me less dmg then regular (not shaper or elder version) wand. Just because we already has some extra % dmg from other sources. They have diminishing returns, you know...

Alright this is what I picked up from patch notes.


(SHAPER STAT STICKS EXTRA DAMAGE MAXED AT 20%)
The Shaper weapon mods which cause you to gain a portion of Physical Damage as Extra Cold, Fire, or Lightning Damage, or Extra Damage of a random Element, grant half as much Extra Damage. Amulets are unaffected by this change, and this does not affect existing items. Existing versions can be updated to these new values with a Divine Orb.

(INPULSAS MAX EXPLOSION 5% CAPPED)
Inpulsa's Broken Heart's "Shocked Enemies you Kill to Explode, dealing 5% of their Maximum Life as Lightning Damage which cannot Shock" no longer has a range of 5-10% (and is now set at 5%). Existing versions can be updated to these new values with a Divine Orb

TL:DR - THe explosion nerf means very little you should hardly notice it with good gear as things die fast anyways. The shaper stat sicks dps sucks BUT a good stat stick with 2X20% and good modes should still be more than enough dps to kill everything.

PS: What idk what this means - Physics Interactions - Maybe physical?

Added physics interactions to many skills, including Abyssal Cry, Blade Flurry, Blade Vortex, Blink and Mirror Arrow, all Curses, Desecrate, Discharge, Earthquake, Enduring Cry, Frost Bomb, Ice Crash, Ice Nova, Leap Slam, Lightning Warp, the Offering skills, Orb of Storms, Rallying Cry, Shield Charge, Sweep, and Wither.

I was hoping this was the case and they didn't misspell Physical :)

Otherwise BV seems to be in a good place surviving the knock.

The only thing was shaper stat sticks. We can still run 2X daggers to keep Whirling blades. We can still run 2X shaper daggers to get good deeps.

Any chance to play new Carcass Jack with 50% AOE with BV?

We can free some AOE nodes and use them elsewhere.

Yep exactly I also see no reason for any panic and will stick with BV Elementalist as my league starter as it will easily carry me into the endgame... and then lets see where we go from there :)

Played many BV toons and I would safely say that Mom + Acro BV Ele is the strongest I have tried. Was going to fall back onto BV Chief if ele got gutted but not anymore.

I mean instead of the max 2X shper daggers will net you more crit (less pen and ele damage) BUT I am freaking sure that betrayal is going to have some insane crafting mods to make up for the lack of extra damage.

@memberx No need for carcass jack, we do not need extra aoe. Ele has a talent that provides that every few seconds PLUS for a clear setup you can just run inc aoe which isnt even needed tbh. Don't over extend for aoe the pops from heralds and inpulsa is more than enough to clear a screen of mobs,

The most notable change is that we now take the Spiritual Aid cluster, specifically for its "Increases and Reductions to Minion Damage also affect you" notable property. The reason why it matters is that the minion damage modifiers become global and therefore boost all heralds as well as Inpulsa explosion damage. It also allows us to utilize the 40% damage bonus from Bone Helmets, resulting in 109% increased global damage. We also allocate Celestial Judgement getting 36% increased generic elemental damage as well as 5% elemental penetration. These changes compensate the Inpulsa explosions nerf and considerably buff the heralds damage.
Seems like @DirtyDot thinks Inpulsa nerf might need a few passive tree changes. Any idea what to pick or what to remove? Looks like he read my mind and wrote down before i do :D Thanks!

Gonna give it a go this league, see whats all "BV isnt nerf?! WAT?!" hype :D Thanks for the detailed guide and everything.

So this build and skill trees provided are still viable for lvling/mapping/and end game with changes? thanks sorry new.
