Pls everyone who vote no, go and start a necromancer, then try aim the net with 20 minion from 30 yard away. Its so fucking frustrating. Its not enjoyable for a lot of builds in the actual form. But I admit that it is not the best option to capture dead monsters. So in my opinion you should make nets able to auto target the strongest monster in the screen, in this case you can press it any time and do not miss your chance because the totems or minions.

Have the nets res and enrage the mob but grants no experience, maybe limit to one per map.

I have mixed feeling about this:
Pro dead-capture: - good for people with low FPS / lag problems, - good for end-game mass murderers builds (Minion, Totem and large AoE will have problem with capturing monster in time) - will not slow down light-speed farming builds. Against dead-creature: - will make beasts capturing mechanics less unique: just another type of Strongbox/Essence, - capturing dead creature is not an achievement and - in my opinion - is anti-climatic. |

As a summoner, I can't locate the beast half the time. I think you should implement a lock on feature where once you have selected the beast anytime you through the trap it lands on it.

I think that there should be dead net, but dead beasts should have a timer of some sort to be captured before they rot. I personally think that would be fair to both sides of the argument.

I don't want to capture dead beasts, but I don't want to capture living beasts with the current mechanics either. At least for my spectre summoner, which I started the league with, the current mechanics are rather hard to deal with.

Absolutely No. Don't let the crybabies win GGG. As GC miner I often oneshot every beast but I gotta learn how to deal with it. You nullify the mechanic if we can net dead beasts.

No for Dead Beast.
...but yes for rework. Put the trap as 3 layer / 3sec. You throw in the begin of the fight, every second the trap loose 1 layer (one of the blue chain). If you dont kill in the end of the 3 sec and all 3 layer vanish the monster get enrage. This fix the problems with Slayer, Culling Strike, Essence Drain, Any DoT, Minion, Totem and around 30% of builds in the game that you can't control the DPS. I like everything in this league, but the fact you need to catch the damn beast... I mean i like PoE to walk around and destroy everything on my way. Sorry if i'm not that mainstream guys how look for heavy mechanics in a freaking Action RPG. Plus, this all could be fixed since the begin if stead of NET and CAPTURE alive you put a vessel on the ground near the beast and capture THEY SOUL when killed. |
