Please remove the mystery boxes because it's Hazard Gaming
" let them eat cake! lolol m8, life sustain? dominos peperoni passion with baked cookie dough and a bottle of coke? Its recreational consumption of stuff that is not at all good for you for an extremely high price compared to eating proper food. Beer sustains tho hehe, come on, its not the 10th century. " who said I actually bought 100 loot boxes? Why would I ever buy 100 loot boxes? " yeah going out raving can be extremely unhealthy... its also fun. As a human being you get to make that call with your own body and mind, what do I pay for my fun? What toll does it take? Responsible people take responsibility for that choice and make it, for themselves, by themselves. I see no contradiction, if you are happy with what your funtimes cost you and youve survived them intact then you dont have a problem. People can buy 100 loot boxes, I wouldnt, but if someone wants to, does, and doesnt care, it hasnt ruined their life, then thats fine. If you want to live partyboy crazy and come out the other side with nothing but happy memories and a hangover youre willing to suffer for them then also fine, good for you. " wut? lol. Mate Im 36 years old, grew up with everything handed to me? Like what? What was handed to me? I got my first job when I was 18. dont know the real world? I think quite the opposite my friend, I think Im talking a lot more down to earth real than a lot of people in this thread. Im not the one on the side of the fence arguing for the nanny state to step in and save us all from our inability to take responsibility for our own actions. If yourself or anyone else in this thread doesnt feel like they are responsible enough to have money and spend it appropriately I suggest you find a way to either learn to have responsibility or have someone else manage your money for you as a way to fix your problems, not make the rest of us suffer the padded cell + strait jacket you seem to think is required not to hurt yourselves. Dont preach that everyone should be put in a strait jacket and a padded cell 'just in case'. If people feel they need that level of protection from themselves they can go find it on a case by case basis, the rest of us are quite fine as we are thanks. I think youre fine too, I dont believe ur even talking about yourself, youre arguing everyone should be wrapped and packed in cotton wool as a precautionary measure just in case someone out there needs it, which is possibly even more absurd. " whos blindly throwing money at a company and not caring why or what is being done wit it? Again like the statement above, where is that coming from? What on earth does that have to do with me? How does that in any way relate to my attitude or my expenditure? I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

As if the gambling element and duplicates existing in loot boxes aren't bad enough, now they've taken it one step further and placed the nicest looking MTX behind a "blended MTX" mechanic. Just so you can waste even more dollars trying to get two complete sets, when one was already hard enough.
There ought to be some kind of government regulations regarding such purchases in games. Last edited by Hayrich#0469 on Mar 5, 2018, 6:09:02 PM

I really dont get the "some people may abuse them so lets take them away from everyone" mentality
those that piss away their money will be parted from it that dosent mean GGG should get rid of a good money maker I dont see any any key!

" is that not on the parents? is personal responsibility a thing of the past? whats happened to our world? I dont see any any key!

"This game isn't meant for kids. Hell should we make producing porn illegal because kids can go online and find it? Also someone with a gambling addiction is going to be blowing their money on lotto tickets, not buying mtx boxes in a video game. |

" That doesn't make it 'trickery' that you can get duplicates or items you don't want. Not knowing what you're going to receive is implied in the name MYSTERY box. They also ALWAYS make a post saying that you can get things you've already gotten, and they even tell you exactly what can be in the box, and the % chance of getting a specific type of item. You are certainly allowed to have an opinion on mystery boxes, but don't fucking imply that GGG is 'tricking' anyone. Last edited by Malephar#4192 on Mar 6, 2018, 12:35:38 AM

Putting pure MTX garbage behind a gambling wall is fine.
" It's called a generational cap. Over here, when I compare schools back in 90's to what's going on today... I feel sorry for all those who are teachers today. |

" If you have a job, a bank account and a visa card to buy stuff online then I think its safe to say you should be old enough to either use them responsibly or take responsibility for not. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" Internet [Removed by Support] requires age verification? Go to [Removed by Support] site you feel like and find an age check you have to pass before you're able to browse. For every one that does, there are 100 that don't. ESRB rating for Path of Exile is M. That's 17+. One quick search on ESRB.org gave that information. Did you even bother trying? http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.aspx?titleOrPublisher=Path+of+Exile&searchType=title So hard. Game isn't meant for kids. Personal responsibility is a thing. The government is fucking terrible at regulating pretty much everything, let's not drag them deeper into games because some idiots can't control themselves.
