Please remove the mystery boxes because it's Hazard Gaming

Mystery boxes are dirty way to earn money. Tricking kids to buy points to spend on boxes with a low (or non existant) chance to get armour effects. In my country this is called Hazard Gaming and is illegal for kids.

Put the new sin and innocence sets as armour packs instead and stay classy.

Agreed. GGG get serious.
Need to look up the word "tricking" when you get a chance.
Also, I don't remember this being a game for kids... not that that would matter, apparently.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

But Shags, they're literally hacking your brain! I heard it on Extra Credits, so it must be true. You read "Mystery Box" and you can do nothing but spend all your savings on them because that's how they were designed to work. It's not a matter of free will. We already established it does not exist. What GGG are doing is criminal.

It is in some form since when you get duplicate (aka useless items you can't use) it is literally stuff you bought and won't be of any use for you. Other developpers in other games made it so you don't get duplicate but they don't here.

You know why? Because not only the percentage is off from their announcement (45% for common items for example) but some people might end up buying more in points compared to the real value in points. It is shady imo and there is a reason why governments are trying to limit these things.
If people can't figure out how the mystery boxes work, they have no hope of surviving the game itself.

Also its all cosmetic stuff. All other games that do this, dangle a power gaming carrot in your face at small odds.

The only possible issue might be if they don't have the rates listed, which is becoming more common and a legal requirement in some countries (which is a great thing). I dont know if the rates are listed or not since i buy functional stuff, not bells and whistles. I grind hundreds of hours on challenges to get those :P

It might actually be a problem in some countries.
However, I think GGG made sure they're not into illegal territory before they decided (long ago) to have these mystery boxes.
