Crazy cpu usage after update.
Chris acknowledged the problem on reddit yesterday, so I guess they are now starting to deal with it.

Just wanted to post some info what I been seeing happen on my PC. I'm going to include full PC spec's and screenshot of me playing POE in auction with CPU/GPU loads and temps. Maybe it will help out the community to find what could be causing the problem.
My PC was running fine befor the update and still running fine after it. If you look at the screenshot you can see the GPU/CPU loads and temps. Again just wanted to post what I been seeing on my end. Maybe it will help US figure out what is causing the issue for some people. ![]() Full system specs: Processor: AMD FX-8320 (125W Processor) Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990fx R3.0 CPU Cooler: MSI Core Frozr L (Can handle upto 200W processors) Ram Memory: 8 GB G.Skill DDR3 Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB Case: Raidmax Alpha Prime OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Last edited by Narniabusiness#6801 on Mar 4, 2018, 3:52:00 PM

" This appears to be affecting Intel based systems more so than amd rigs. I have core temp on my task bar for all 4 cores so I can monitor what my CPU is doing at all times. Before the 3.2 patch, my CPU temps ran between 31-33c while running PoE. Idle temps when the game was not in use would be around 27-30c I have water cooling. Now, my CPU temps are jumping from core to core, peaking (at times) to 47c. If it were not for the water cooling, I could see these temps roasting the mother board after some time. Even still, I can feel the heat coming off the radiator block after 5 mins of PoE running. It's not dust on the fans, LMAO! It's the software that was released in a crap state. GGG should be held liable for roasting people's rigs on this one, and there are at least a few reports of this occurring. |

There is another post about the CPU issue. Most of the people who posted on that topic never said if they have Intel or AMD processor.
Those who did post saying they have a Intel processor seemed to have the problem more. Last edited by Narniabusiness#6801 on Mar 4, 2018, 4:26:37 PM

Its not limited to intel, I have AMD CPU and GPU, I get 100% CPU usage in game and 60% usage with the game minimised, previously It was around 50% and 0% when minimised. Something is extremely wrong with the code. I cant believe GGG hasnt even acknowledged this yet its a huge problem!

" ironically this is probably the one and only situation when amd is running cooler than intel |

My cpu usage is at 14-15%, however my gpu usage is nearer 99% whilst PoE is running. My fans are working overtime as well. PoE is using between 92 and 97% gpu at the moment.
