All those classes are the same honestly, they have tons of chance to dodge attacks and spell damage ontop of raw evasion but eventually and pretty regularly something gets through and 1 shots you b/c you have like 5% physical reduction. They all move fast and hit hard but are pretty crappy if you want to push 100 or play HC. I tried a cookie cutter raider myself and abandoned it at 94 b/c of the previous stuff.

You got to think around that problem, the game has options.

Lets say youre a melee raider, so youre crit attacks, probably physical to elemental conversion, youre already doing double or triple the damage of a melee marauder. So drop some of that damage and scale your life up to 6.5k-7k. You got 5% phys reduction, ok well what sort of suspect body armour are you wearing? Lightning coil, even a new coil after the nerf is about 22.5% phys reduction, toh adds 16.2% to it so thats 38.7% physical reduction from 2 items. Why would you have 5% when its that easy to hit 38.7% using 2 items?

Basalt, 3 base endurance charges, fortify and arctic armour dont stack additively with phys to ele, they work on separate layers so it gets complex to work out a total damage reduction from using all these things off hand, but theres 4 more sources of physical damage reduction and its easy to use all of these things together. What have you swapped out to get all of those things going on? a coil for an evasion chest? so you lost about 1100 base evasion from gear. With an evasion shield, starkonjas etc youre still going to be able to hit 18k, 20k+ evasion, your acrobatics is not hurting any of that phys reduction, so youre still a full evasion and acro build.

the onslaught branch buff is ridiculous. I know people haven't realized yet how broken Avatar of Chase actually is (especially with the watcher's eye). I think you will regret that change once they find out.. It was great before, but people had to invest in that, now they got if for free..
