Here's today's Ascendancy Class update: The Raider

Bex, by "ascendancy update of the day" does that mean there are no more for the rest of today? My finger is cramping from refreshing

We have news and another teaser coming later but this is the only Ascendancy Class for today.

Well, you could go up one step both Onslaught and Frenzy branch to for the gaining and then the Quartz branch full for defense and mobility.



Nah, cuz the 2nd onslaught node is the big one. 100% inc onslaught effect (basically an extra 20% attack/cast/movespeed) and 25% more chance to evade. And 20% inc attack damage. That's more mobility than the phasing line now, and damn good defense (usually better vs attacks, but obviously nothing vs spells), while also giving a lot of dps.


I mean, the frenzy line is still the best imo, but i think the onslaught and phasing branches are at a spot where they're up to preference, now that onslaught will be reliable (and lasting... 10 seconds is sexy).



theres also 40% onslaught duration in the 2 small nodes right? so its a 14 second onslaught in practice.

Im not sure about removing the movespeed from avatar of he veil, if that had stayed I would say its now a give and take between phasing and onslaught, with it reduced as it is I feel like weve gone from veil being the clear winner to onslaught being the clear winner and its simply a reversal of the issue with one path still being left as the ugly duckling.


The immune to ailments is rly nice tho, I guess thats a big pull to veil but imo its gonna lose out in that tug of war more often than not.

Really wish all this Attack Damage nonsense would change to generic damage so we could make these classes more diverse.
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0
How do they manage to make the class you play always the last to be released, its like that creepy fkng china doll your grandma has. When you were a kid no matter where you were in the room that doll's eyes were always fixed on you, how does this stuff happen.

I need Marauder info people, and get rid of those dolls.
Pretty pleased with this one, I play more raiders than anything else so the fact it was both not gutted and that the onslaught branch is more viable is pretty rocking.
