Multi-Boxing. Finally. The facts.

D3.....is there any game out there right now with less gaming integrity than d3?

Yeah I have to agree with this, I found the references to Blizzard and that game (in OP) HILARIOUS.

Enough with the personal accusations and hyperbole. Just because someone has a different opinion on an issue doesn't mean they don't care for the integrity of the game at all.

That's extremely unfair.
And they said *I* was bad at PoE. At least I made it out of act 1 and know how to use the /dnd function. El oh fucking el.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.

3. TOS, TOS, TOS

Everyone keeps on bringing up the TOS and of course 3rd party software. Well in POE it is called The Terms of Use or TOU. There is no mention of use of 3rd party software in the TOU. As far as the TOU is concerned you can use any and all 3rd party software that does not break any other clause in the TOU. Which brings us to the next point.

You would be mistaken.

Chris has said the use of any client modifications, ggpk modifications, and interactions with the client through automation programs or tools is strictly forbidden. If you read my thread carefully, you'll see why it does in fact go against the ToS.

To know everything that has been said, you'd have to search through the forums, read the offsite interviews, and watch the streams of the interviews Chris has given. We will just have to wait for a format policy thread, as it'll eventually come, when they are ready.

Maybe you posted before you read my post. I made a clarification. 90% of game makers and game moderators. Like GGG and Blizzard and Runic.

again- SHOW me a publication on your fake statistics

I'm not going to dredge up 15 different TOS and TOU from different games to show you that they allow multiboxing. That has been shown for this game as well as blizzard. That should be enough for you. I'm not going to pander to you. You dont believe me, go look it up yourself. Call me a liar, but I have never seen anyone banned from any game for multiboxing. Ever. Except my roommate in Perfect World.

Just one problem, they aren't multiboxing. They are multi-clienting/logging.

NOT.THE.SAME.THING.

.
Using the OP's definitions, multi-boxing (automated simultaneous keystrokes) is bannable. Multi-logging/clienting (and manually controlling each one) is not.

Think carefully before you answer the following:

How many hot dogs can your roommate fit in his mouth at one time?

But again, you can only speak for yourself, at best, can you guarantee that all forms of multi-boxing aren't used for abuse?

I agree, that is what Chris said. I would also agree that most multi-boxers don't use automation, they use replication. Not the same thing.

Automation should be banned and will be banned. Replication is not banned in almost all other major games and probably won't be in POE either.
