Thank you Charan...I do like this game and I hope it succeeds. I care about the game, but I also want to defend its community. As of right now, we are allowed to multibox so calling gamers who do so cheaters is disrespecting other members of the community, which is also a vital part of the community.

I do not multibox, but I do not consider it cheating until GGG considers it cheating.

I will say it again in a different way.

Multiboxing is not cheating in GGG's eyes, so I dont consider it cheating either. I dont multibox.

I am 100% sure that some multi-boxers do use some forms of automation to abuse. Just as I am 100% sure that some people that don't multibox, use some form of automation to abuse. Just as I am 100% sure that some people use real money trading sites to buy POE currency and items.

Abusers will abuse and they fall in every class of gaming.

By the way, feels good to be having a vaguely civilised conversation with you flab! We should do this more often as I don't think our views are really that far apart.

Yeah, I'll save the eloquence for my PM's to chris and rest of dev team which have already been sent out, thanks for your input though. No reason why I should display decency towards though who doing nothing but are detrimental to the game.

Multiboxing should be allowed, but when it really is multi boxing aka playing all your party at once, meaning you will need to gear every toon the same, etc. This is fair IMO, since the multiboxer while having 250%+ quantity would still need to spend it on his 6 characters. It's the same like 6 friends playing only that all loot is distributed optimally.

So what I propose is simple:
- for bosses: apply the party bonus only if every member delt at least 10% damage worth of the bosses life.
- for normal monsters: add up all the damage the party is doing, if top dps / last dps > 4, then turn off the party bonus.

This would also solve the problem with the leechers/chest runners in public parties. And who cannot do damage worth of 10% of the life of the boss has no business farming it in the first place.

Multilogging needs to be stopped. Trade channel is already spammed with chaos orbs, there are people coming with 30-50 at a time stating they are willing to buy GCP, Exalted, etc. Soon Chaos Orb will devalue a lot if this practice will not be stopped. This is not "playing the game differently", this is greed in it's purest form. I would be surprised if this technique is not already massively used by botters.

Botting is cheating. Hacking is cheating. RMT is considered cheating here. Multiboxing is allowed, and your in the wrong place if you think its cheating.

Blizz allows Multi-Boxing because it means more money for them.
I dont think it is cheating exactly, but what ever floats your boat I always say.
