Multi-Boxing. Finally. The facts.
" What pisses me off is that when I began playing this game, it was like a breath of fresh air. Every little thing seemed so great, even though I have played ARPGS since the release of D1, in 1996, when I was 16. And I said, "Wow. This game is great. It has a great direction. It is going to be an awesome game. But it's free, so I want to support them. I know, I'll buy some stash tabs." And so, I bought some stash tabs. And I have made other monetary investments, as well as some considerable time investments, into this game, and I really don't want to see it go to waste. I really truly want this game to be the 'game for me', and feel at home with it, now and years to come. So, hopefully, they will implement some much needed changes, and soon. |

" Well i think you're half right. I did it to try it out (ask Charan how much I was upset about finding out someone was mutilboxing in Closed Beta lol), was bored with just using 1 char to farm orbs in act 1, and wanted to see for myself the gains you can get. If you're farming orbs for your high level chars, have a go. (At multi-logging). If you are totally against it, good for you. Do you know what you have over us muti-loggers? A char that isn't slowed down. Keep doing your maps. You're a heck of a lot further in the game than us. |

Personally, I don't care what changes they make to this game. I enjoy it. I follow the rules. I play casually and I don't care what anyone else does in this game because, quite frankly, it doesn't effect me in the slightest. Ninja my loot? It wasn't /mine/ anyhow. Get more currency than me? Lucky you! Spawn 25 minions? I'll find another group. Granted, some things about this game could be better (opinion) but I never let pixels control my in-game fun. they could easily stop multiboxing if they wanted to
it's pretty clear they don't see it as an issue and neither do i power to 'em i personally don't have enough memory to run more than one client at a time but for people that can do it then by all means, do it up |

" Do you have FRAPS? I'd really like to see a video of you controlling them "easily" because I'm calling shenanigans on this. How do you move all characters and keep them in sync without constant repositioning? How do you deal with movement speed greatly affecting your party sync? Also, your success in farming isn't amazing at all. You got 10 alchs and 4 chaos in an hour of farming. Between 6 characters, that's 1.66 alchs and 0.4 chaos per character. You could get that easily farming in a party. |

" yeah apperently it is not an issue, and the allow it but they keep locking my threads when I ask the community for help in setting it up.. to be honest- this means that the mods on the forum are clearly not there for the community/nor do they respect the rules of GGG... this is sad, and I might just regret I supported this game after all :( |

" As I said, multiboxing - as I understand it, involves automating processes and that isn't promitted. multilogging - as I understand it, involves logging in through mutliple accounts but actually controlling the avatars yourself. this is fine. Are people who are multilogging also multiboxing? probably, possibly. but that isn't the same as coming to the forums and getting tips on how to do so. Also, if you really want to do so, and don't care about possible repercussions, I'd recommend Google. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."

" To further argue against you, your questions all involve third party software, which as far as I know and have read, GGG does not allow if it aids in automation, if they even allow any third party software at all. Your problem, again, is the involvement of a third party software, not your questions on the subject. |
